help with basic problem (PC)

this is our first post. just bought this great game for PC WIN98, installed it in a machine that passed all reqs., but about 30 secs. into the first stage, video breaks and detailed shapes and even text become huge color blocks and things slow down. i have been told of patches that could fix it, just don't know where to find them. thanks for any help.

You probably don't have enough memory on you computer. The same thing happens to me after leaving my computer on too long and running a lot of programs (my computer has a small memory leak)
Also you need about 100 megs of free disk space. Oh and finally, check the README file to see if your driver can run Rogue Squadrin correctly. As for patches, all released patches can be found on this site or Lucasart's.

Supply more information in regards to your computer, such as video card, video card drivers, processor, and memory.

the patch can be found at www.lucasarts.com/programs click rogue squadron under flight action.
