Yeah... about that... Doesn't YYZ have no lyrics? What will they do?!?!

Also, I'm a little back logged: (about a two/three weeks backlogged)

$15 (x3)

Miss priced and accidentally ordered from Goozex, traded $40 worth of Goozex points for a $15 game, have had it for two weeks and haven't even read the manual. 800 points (Goozex, about $40)

1200 MS points, pretty interesting game, haven't finished it yet, but it's pretty mind bending. Like Mario meets Prince of Persia and Blinx with puzzles. $15 (XBLA)

Looks interesting, only $7.50 in Goozex points, too. 150 points (Goozex)

Also pretty cheap from Goozex. 350 points (Goozex, about $17.50)

Really felt like playing again after burning out on it back in February after playing it for around 15 hours in one week. $25 (GameCrazy)

I'm digging Pikmin a lot, so I got this for pretty cheap considering it's semi-rarity. $33 (eBay)

BAH!!! Wait until floors 57-59. Those are pains in the ass. And nevermind the one where you only get 80 seconds to beat 3 people...3 times in a row - and they LOVE to impact guard.

Atleast floor 60 is cake...if you're willing to be a cheating bastard, that is.

Awesome game... beat it with a friend, I then bought it myself to have the joy of finding the best/alternative ways of doing the levels. Well worth the 1200 MS points IMHO.

Also for an extra challenge... look for the stars

The only way I beat 45-46 was by beaing a cheating bastard and using Nightmares down grapple where he flips em.

Also, the only way to beat a cheating bastard is to be a cheating bastard, so when the game is a cheating bastard, I'm gonna be a cheating bastard.

Cheating bastard.

Thats true. And one thing about the Soul Calibur franchise: its chock full of cheating bastards. Especially at the end of the cheating bastard filled quest based missions in the games. It's always some hyped out cheating bastard you can't hurt. And this particular cheating bastard, not only can you not hurt the cheating bastard, but the cheating bastard can not be blocked, and assuming you hit the cheating bastard, he has Health Drain S, so basically the bastard takes as much life from you as you loose from the cheating bastard hitting you.

Having said all that, to beat the cheating bastard, lay down with yourself between him and the edge. Eventually he'll do this cheating bastard flip move...and Null Ring Out S doesn't stop voluntary ring outs.

And then you may scream "Take that you cheating bastard!"

I, in a fit of pure, unadulterated awesome, just repaired my Red Ringed 360 whilst also babysitting my 1 year old nephew. Go me!

Bonus Points: I did the second half with almost zero light because I had to put the little man to sleep. Let me rephrase that. I had to put my nephew to sleep.

What darkness, quiet, and a half hour can do to mollify a child, a blunt object and a New York minute can do equally as well.

MrWally, your nieces are too cute. ^^

Rhett, well done. Here, have a cookie.

I heard Hellboy 2 was awesome, so before I see it, I thought I better get the first one...

Been reading the manga of Death Note and it deserves all the hype. One of the best mangas I've read, so I thought I'd get the live action film and check it out.

I actually liked the first one, since it was so over the top cheesy and tongue-in-cheek, but I was horribly disappointed after watching the sequel. There was so many facepalm-moments that I wanted to walk out of the theater at times, and that almost never happens to me.

I'm now worried about Del Toro directing The Hobbit.

@ Pie: While I didn't see Hellboy 2, I am not worried about Del Toro directing The Hobbit, because the film will still be written by Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh, the same team that lead the LOTR movies, and with them behind a wheel I can't see anything going wrong. In my opinion their writing with Del Toro's artistic style makes for a great film.

@ Lexx: Thanks. They are cute And also, Deathnote is aboslutely fantastic, but I heard that the live action film was just horrible. Let me know what you think. If I were you I'd just get all of the t.v. shows and watch them through... it's quite the experience.

Although, I did just get a brand new totally beast gaming computer. Built it myself to save good money. That above feature was the last component to ship, and, in turn, be installed, yet it is my favorite part.

Very bad thing: Ripping my copy of FFVIII to use on my hacked PSP, playing for 3 hours straight, and finding out that a defect in my disk was keeping an FMV from running.

Very bad thing: Spending around 9 hours straight tracking down the problem and trying every fix, only to have my hopes and dreams crushed.

Very good thing: Finally finding a rip online that works perfectly and works with my save, allowing me to once again enjoy FFVIII wherever I please

Yet. Give it time.

In other news, I might have a puppy in a week or so...

(that's me on the left kissin the puppy, and my friend anthony holdin him)

Customer found him weaving in and out of traffic on one of the busiest streets I know of, and she managed to coax him near her and got him in her car and brought him with her to her oil change appointment. After a while he calmed down and started loosening up and he kept coming back to me, so she said she was going to take him into her vet and have him checked for a chip, cause he didn't have a collar, but he was in good shape, pretty clean coat, nails weren't long. So if she can't find the owner in a week, then I might have a puppeh

She took him into her vet and had him de-wormed and got his shots, and the vet said he was 8-10 months old, and is Beagle with cocker-spanial and chihuaha. Unfortunately, he was not chipped, and said he wasn't taken care of too well, and even showed some signs of abuse (was cowering whenever his feet came near to him, like he had been kicked ). So tomorrow I get to bring home da puppy and see how well he interacts with the dog we already have, a miniature ****zu.

I figure that, this way, we'll win regardless of the results of the election. We'll either be ushered into a new era of American progress and world peace, or have a reason to actually watch C-span.

Went to day one of Penny Arcade Expo 08. I was only there for 5 hours but I was able to see some interesting stuff. Got some shwag and posters. Got some pictures that I'll post later. And have some interesting things to report.

But here is a story of a little bit of interest on how my bro and I essentially cut in line in front of 10,000 people.

Interesting happened when my bro and I got there and found where you're supposed to buy passes. We are presented with a massive crowd of people, and a sort of line that's chock full of people that's around 25 feet wide, around 100 people every 20 feet along.(1)

Well, we find out that after 5 minutes we're standing in the "We already have passes" line, and surprisingly the massive line is the "already got our stuff" line, then there is a much smaller line for buying the damn things. Sorta backwards and confusing. (2)

Well, anyway, we get in a line for the tickets (there are about 10 lines for the passes) (3)

After a few minutes some guy shouts out "We have a much shorter line at the cash only desk!" (4)

So we basically bypass a 15 minute wait down to a one minute wait instead. Get the passes, and see where everyone else is going who have passes. My bro finds a old school mate who is working as an "Enforcer" (5)

and we find out that when you have your pass, you get in line for the show to start. This is when we freak out, because the massive 3000 person line feeds into the "Line-up room", a room so chock full of people it's scary. (6) Edit: http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pax-2008/1006871/full/

So we're basically told that we're 10,000th in line to get into the main Exhibit hall. One thing to note is that there are two doors, one feeding in the massive line of people outside this room into it, and a trickle of people exiting it, making their way to the exhibit. (7)

Without much concern, amazingly, we head to the end of the massive line, and we're waiting for the worst (8)

Well, we stand in the massive 10,000 person line, as people 10,001 and 10,002, we're worried. But then I point out that there is no difference between the special trickle people exiting the massive waiting room and us. So we get out of line and start moving back, looking at the people across the empty space (9)

We continue, and realize that the only reason why anyone went in that line was to hold people there before they opened to doors to the main exhibit hall. (10)

So it was pretty awesome. Basically, people who got there early basically sat in the waiting room for no damn reason. Getting there early only meant one thing: That you'd need to wait longer, pretty sad stuff. We were really lucky, we were in the Expo within moments of opening, but only waited for around 20 minutes to get in. While everyone else waited hours and hours. Pretty lame.

Pictures later.
