I returned to LF after a haitus...

Sorry, APUSH + Boyfriend + Mascoting = NO TIME FOR LF.

EDIT: Speaking of good things and boyfriend, today is our 1 month anniversary... 11 to go.

"A few times in my life I've had moments of absolute clarity. When for a few brief seconds, the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think, and things seem so sharp and the world seems so fresh. I can never make these moments last. I cling to them, but like everything, they fade. I've lived my life on these moments. They pull me back to the present and I realize that everything is exactly the way it was meant to be."

Well... I know after he graduates things are gonna dwindle... So I've got till May 15th. Guess that's like, 11 months if you count summer.

I only got a 4.

In my defense, though, Europe is way more cooler than the US. They created pumpernickel, for Christ's sake. Actually, Christ too, for the most part.

The people at LF are the ones who got me calling it APUSH in the first place.

APUSH was definitely manageable. I slept countless times in class (teacher's fault, not mine), bs'd my way through every essay and homework assignment, and still easily managed a 4 on the test.

AP Euro was a LOT harder that APUSH, in my opinion.

Bought a 320gb PATA HDD today.

My frankencomputer that I bought the 650w PSU for was giving me BSOD's again, but I could tell it was the HDD. Every time it would BSOD right before I'd hear a loud noise, sure enough coming from the hard drive. Bad thing, I only have PATA in that computer. However, I figure it's still a good investment cause after I build a new one I can slap this 320gb PATA HDD into an external enclosure, and use it as an external drive.

Also my keyboard sucks, so I splurged and bought myself a present:

It's rather swanky

Cause I had already spent the other $1850 on hookers and blow.

Also: MENTAL NOTE TO MYSELF: DON'T BE SUCH A GREEDY JEW NEXT TIME, AND PAY THE EXTRA 5 BUCKS FOR AN UNOPENED DRIVE.

After an hour or so of diagnosing and research, and a 3 hour DBAN wipe, the hard drive is working nicely. The ******* that returned the hard drive must have f***ed up the partitions and instead of fixing them himself, just took it back to frys. Oh well.

I have become obsessed with Silent Hill...

Something from my past that I should never have let go of:

This was no easy acquisition, it cost me $40, and I had to drive for about an hour to go pick it up. However, it's black label, and there is not a scratch on it. Playing it brings back the memories of the first time I got the creeps playing a video game ever.

Also picked this up to finish off my collection:

Good Thing: Accidentally getting one of the Think Fast challenges (finishing someone off by beaming them with a grenade) on Call of Duty 4 10 seconds after joining a match.

Very good thing: Doing it on a 73 inch tv in 1080P.

So I have had this advance copy of Far Cry 2 since like Monday or Tuesday. The actual game does not come out until Tues, the 21st. So far, so good. You are introduced to some third world Hell hole, you get malaria, and some Russians find you, patch you up with band aids, load you up with guns, and you have to drive away in a piece of **** car and go look for an arms dealer called "the Jackal". Pretty realistic stuff. Great graphics, and the healing mechanism is note worthy. When you are shot, you hit a button, and it shows you digging bullets out of your leg with a knife.
