Not I.

While I applaud the whole "hybridness" of the vehicle... it scores very low on the styling charts in my book.

Make a hybrid that looks like a Lotus Exige or an Audi R8 on the other hand... I'm soooo there.

Despite the "hybridness" of the Prius I understand that due to the manufacturing processes it actually has a lifetime carbon footprint higher than a Range Rover.

There's that too... but manufacturers do have to start somewhere if there's no existing support infrastructure in place. I don't fault the attempt.

Hydrogen fuel-cell cars will probably eventually be the norm... but still enough of a ways off that something should be attempted in the interim.

I'd probably go TDI myself rather than Hybrid... but I might be the wrong person to ask anyway,.. since I really want a Lancer Evolution X as my next car,.. so obviously fuel-economy and the environment are exactly high up on my car-buying priorities list.

Well I'm not a good standard to judge this by. I get excited over ranch trucks too; especially if they're about 40+ years old. And Jeeps, muscle cars, Escalades....

Got a new bike today, and it's sooooo fabulous. Check it out!

Hell yes, it's nice, Maximus Dath. The only awkward thing about it is the lack of brakes on the handle bars; it's got the old fashioned pedal brakes, but it's worth it for the uber classiness that is the Electra Butterfly Cruiser.

Not shown in the picture is a quick release wicker basket with a handle for easy toting of all of my tiny manslaves, whiskey, and chlorophyll water and other essentials.

*low rumbling noises*

This is (very similarly) what I drive every day. Gets like 14 MPG and goes from 0 to 60 whenever it feels like it.

Exterior paint job is total garbage, but the interior is still clean (yay).

Oh, and it's got just under 250,000 miles on it, and has driven from Seattle to Los Angeles and back probably 12 times.

Dath why didn't you rip trujedi a new one HAS MARRIAGE MADE YOU SOFT!?!?

In other news, my houses A/C is ****ed again. Now, you might be thinking "Bongo you bafoon, that's a bad thing," and you're right. However, the good thing is that now the rest of my family knows what it feels like in my room, where it's 85 degrees while the rest of the house is 78. Honestly I barely notice the A/C isn't working.

I do too.

EDIT: Just found out that Omar Rodriguez-Lopez (Guitarist and general mastermind of The Mars Volta) has a new cd with John Frusciante out and is name your own price, along with his new Quartet cd.

They're available here if you're interested.

I traded in my DS stuff and managed to get $150 towards this.

Say what you will about GameStop, but my local store takes good care of me. I asked if they'd set one aside for me, and they did. When I finally went and picked it up, some guy called and asked if there were any left in stock. The GameSpot employee said the guy on the phone sounded so sad when he was told I was buying the last one.

It apparently took them 40 minutes to sell their inventory.

It was well worth the money to upgrade. It makes so little noise. Even with a disk spinning. It gets pretty hot though.

Bastard, I want a shiny Xbox 360. Would have been great if you 360 RROD'd about now, and not like 2 months ago. I'm so sad.

In other news, I managed to upload all my Alphonse Mucha art onto my Flickr Pro account that I sort of got a two-year extension for for free.

That has been completely my experience at GameStop too. Since they are such a large chain, any isolated incident gets extrapolated to all the stores in general. How reliable is the built-in wireless adapter?

It's pretty good. I don't get very good signals this far from my wireless router, but wireless N really helps.

From what I've read, the new 360 can't red ring anymore, it's a red dot now.

Only time will tell if they've fixed the problem. I'd like to think they have. I'm sure they don't want to spend another billion dollars because they put out ****ty hardware.
