Indeed. The scary thing is, I passed it going off of 3 hours of sleep

But yeah. The whole thing was kind of bull****. I was talking with my girlfriend about when she wanted to go see Harry Potter, and it all came down to me getting a ride. So I went out and checked the paper the DMV gave me after I failed hard last time, and it said the 13th. I found this out at 11PM. After drinking a bawls, planning on staying up all night playing Smackdown Vs Raw 2007 and/or Devil May Cry 3. So I didn't get to sleep til like 3:30, I woke up at 6:30 cause I had to shower and shave and whatnot, and my test was at 8:30. And they almost didn't let me take it because the name on the registration and the name on the invoice weren't the same. And I almost got the bitchiest instructer there, but I ended up getting a dude that was more like he should have been working the Warped Tour than the DMV. And he was the coolest motherf***er there. In the parking lot some idiot just stopped behind us, and he just went "What is this idiot doing?" After that it was pretty smooth sailing. Although I thought I blew through a school zone, the school was a 9 month and was out, so I lucked out >.> <.<

But yeah. I ended up dropping my mom off at work, then went to Jack In The Box and 7-11 just because I simply could before going to teh movies.

The really funny thing is that, since it took me so long to get it, I only have to deal with the under 18 restrictions for another 9 days

Some cool news. If my brother gets lucky, he might get quite possibly the coolest job I've ever heard of.

Get this: He could get the job of supervising star athletes giving a drug-testing company urine samples. Creepy, right? But here is the cool part, he'd get $100 per person that he collects on! Theoretically he could get over a $1000 a day at just 18 years old just watching athletes pee. There is no guarantee that this may ever happen, but this just seems way too cool. Wish I was 18 so I could do it instead, I'd take the job in a heart beat.

Now, the reason why this was offered is that the mom of my sister's close friend said that she has no guys to supervise the male athletes and that she can only do women. So he would probably just ride shotgun with her to places and just baby sit them until they conjure up enough juice.

Paint thinner didn't work earlier. But I used a King Size Sharpie (the kind of permanent marker that requires you to work outdoors in a wind storm or risk brain damage) and marked over the orange. Worked great and dried fast. No mess. But I think I lost a few IQ points from the fumes.

Yeah if you buy them from a U.S. distributor it usually doesn't come off that easily. If you import them from Hong Kong (like I did) they usually slap some cheap paint on the end (so they can ship it) and include instructions for removing it though.

I've actually been thinking of getting one since I tried out Armored Core 4 (the closest thing to a decent Gundam game) at Best Buy the other day. What other games would you recommend?

And they look better too. My friend has both a 360 and a PS3 with a HD TV and the games look better on the 360.

Resistance is fun to play but no one he knows has a PS3 so he rarely plays online with it. RV6 is the funnest Next Gen game to play MP with.

Well, I just had the VERY BEST game of Halo 2 ever. In an 8v8 deathmatch, I got a 24 kill long kill streak. I was in fact, for a brief bit of time, Jesus. Clicky for evidence.

Technically, if you were Jesus you would've laid down your arms as a sign that you've transcended the mortal vices and follies of this world. You would profess that the Spartan emptying thirty rounds of heathen goodness into your divine chest knows not what he does. This act of rampage and senseless, nondiscriminatory violence, however, only further proves that Jesus is not in your heart. Lay down your video game controllers, son, and turn your game disks into plowshares.

By far one of the funniest victories I've ever managed ^_^

Also, it's been about 3 weeks since I got it, but I recently purchased this. It was worth every penny.

Because everyone knows the real important things for video games are graphics and...linux? Who needs better games and a better online community when you have linux!

WOW! MGS4! So then the PS3 will have not one, but TWO GAMES WORTH PLAYING!

Seriously dude, your fanboyism is showing, as is your disregard for actual english. I don't mind intelligent discussions on why one person loves one system more than another, But it's not gonna happen by saying something *ehem* "sux ballz".

ET, we should totally get together on live for some halo 2 shenanigans.

There is really only one game I want from the PS3. It's a baseball game. Otherwise, there is really no other game I want the PS3 that the Xbox 360 doesn't have. The 360 has Mass Effect and Halo 3. And even then, the graphics on the 360 are just as good as the PS3.

There has been much dispute over the graphics of the Wii, so I don't think we have too discuss that much more.

To keep on topic, I finally have a job. At the exhibition. Yah.

You and your supercool new consele owning selves are lucky. I'd kill for a 360, but I'm too addicted to buying CD's & iTunes cards to save for one. I myself, would love to get my hands on Bioshock.

Oh, and purchases I made at the Mall yesterday!

Uh, no, only guitar gods play F#. =P

But in all serious-ness. I play alot of metal, but blues and jazz too. But what I hate are all the kids who can play the first part of Stairway to Heaven or Master of Puppets, and think they're Dimebag themselves. But when I play Raining Blood or Walk, I'm a guitar noob.

So I whip out some Necrophagist sweep picking.

8th Place on the world record XBL leader board for DiRT. Bark River, CORR.

List goes to around 200,000 places, and I'm number 8.

It's like a carnival. The place where I work at specifically is called Capital Ex (skip the intro). I work in the Gold Mine for minimum wage. >_> Yesterday, I had to put one piece of gold in each pan, then cover it in gravel and help people find the gold if they need help.

Though, there is an upside. Next to the Gold Mine, is the ED Fest stage. I can listen to the live performances. Last night, it was Tom Cochrane, tonight it's Finger Eleven. Next Wednesday, Weird Al will be there, so I'll be able to listen to him live while working. I guess there is an upside to working the last shift.

wow....i mispell a couple words and your all up in me. thats weak. and im not a fanboy, it sarcasm, i like the x360 because of Forza, Halo, Lost Planet, Gears of War and a bunch of other games. I like Wii because of its controller and Zelda. Clearly your fanboism is showing. I like the PS3 for its free online play, connectivity to my psp, the Gran Turismo and MGS series, BD player, and so much more. I look at all the fallbacks in each system and use them sarcasticaly. the Wii isnt HD, can't play DVD's. the PS3 has not alot of games. the 360 is loud, pay for online. and for the same price as an Elite, i'd rather buy a ps3. End of discussion.

My dream job at the moment is working at a convenience store and being able to slack off and piss off customers like in Clerks.

First off, misspelling a couple words is fine, however when you do it and make it look like most 12 year olds with tourrets online type, then I'm immediately not going to take you seriously. Second off, sure, maybe it was sarcasm. But guess what? I can't read facial expressions or discern voice tones over standard TCP/IP. Use a smily or something to show sarcasm. And I'm not a fanboy either. The PS3 is good, but atm, it doesn't have the games to warrent a 500, soon to be back to 600 dollar purchase. The free online is alright, but it's not NEARLY xbox-live calibre. The 360 has the games and the online service to warrant the purchase, but they also don't have the best survival rate. The Wii doesn't have good graphics, but has good gameplay, however atm most of the games are either ports or minigame compilations.

I had a fairly good day. When I got to work, they asked me to guard the Harry Potter books since they were on display. So, I did much of that for my shift. I was also able to listen to Finger Eleven live. I also only had to pay $36 for the book, which is $9 cheaper than the book price. So, yeah, I feel pretty good.

When everyone was buying Harry Potter books. I decided to get something a little more adult...

Only $15 used and I would never imagine paying over $25 for it.

But since it was cheap, it was hella fun. Oh, it -was- because just overnight I'm already at the last level. But the fighting is so much fun! I swear to god the greatest thing to do is to taze a Rob Zombie-looking guy and then knock the teeth out of him with a lead pipe. Yes, if you hit them right, their teeth will fly out and they'll spit blood from their mouths.

Very violent, very fun, rather short, very scary in a good way- not Doom 3 *SCREEECH* scary, like RE4 *AHH! You little SH!T!* scary. The fighting in Oblivion should have been like Condemned.

My new addiction:

I got it for the co-op terrorist hunts, and it's fun seeing a MP character running around with my face on it. This game rules!

Well, since I've been waiting for two weeks to deliver and then get slammed with the news of back-ordering on the R4DS. I decided to cancel my order and re-order from another site. Sure, I won't save like, $30 from the sweet deal I had- but I'll be getting it a week or more earlier.
