2 games i've been wanting to get, but decided to wait it out for a couple years, and seized them this afternoon for $10 each, got them for PC because I'm getting:

SATA 160GB Hard Drive from tigerdirect.com
also decided to get a new psu (500 watts) because i'll want to upgrade my video card with the next paycheck.
i only hope the computer parts are compatible with the motherboard....and that they fit in the case. my computer's been down since november, and my sister's computer's cd drive isn't working right...

WKUK is awesome
In other news, I found myself in posession of some extra cash, so I spent 18 or so bucks on it on Microsoft Points for Rock Band songs. I got "Shockwave" by Black Tide, "All the Small Things" by Blink 182, "Ten Speed (of God's Blood and Burial)" by Coheed and Cambria (f***in cover though ><), Moonage Daydream by David Bowie, "China Cat Sunflower" by The Grateful Dead, "Gimme Three Steps" by Lynyrd Synyrd, "...And Justice for All" by Metallica, the Queens of the Stone Age pack with "Sick, Sick, Sick," "Little Sister," and "3's and 7's."
Now to play them all on guitar while my bass pedal gets here D:

No kain, I know you're better than me at GH
IIRC, you stated before you beat Jordan on GHII. That alone is GG
Also, f*** GHIII. One of my favorite Queens of the Stone Age songs, "3's & 7's" was in GHIII, and while it was fun, the overusage of 3 fret chords killed it for me. the Rock Band DLC version is soooooo much better, and so much more fun, simpyl because of no 3 fret chords for the sake of difficulty.

Pretty damn close to what I got...
(All by memory, while looking at the Wikipedia page) - "...And Justice for All" Metallica
- "3's & 7's" Queens of the Stone Age
- "All the Small Things" Blink-182
- "Casey Jones" The Grateful Dead
- "China Cat Sunflower" The Grateful Dead
- "Dirty Little Secret" The All-American Rejects
- "Fortunate Son" Creedence Clearwater Revival
- "Franklin's Tower" The Grateful Dead
- "Gimme Three Steps" Lynyrd Skynyrd
- "Juke Box Hero" Foreigner
- "Little Sister" Queens of the Stone Age
- "Queen Bitch" David Bowie
- "Sick, Sick, Sick" Queens of the Stone Age
- "Sugar Magnolia" The Grateful Dead
- "Synchronicity II" The Police
- "Truckin'" The Grateful Dead
- "Working Man" Rush
Stuff we got.
I recommend. Definitely Franklin's Tower, maybe Fortune Son...
Now I gotta wait 3 or 4 weeks more. : (

Absolutely true. Hell, my brother can play the opening riff on his Stratocaster and It's much more accurate (if it can even be) on Rock Band. It's mostly sliding your hand to 3 or 4 different parts holding a barre chord. GH3 communicates the idea that you need to break your finders and re-fuse them into chord positions to get it done in real life.
Here's a YouTube video showing both http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDNPtxZ9Y00

Yeah, after I spent all my points I saw a video of Franklin's tower and wished I had gotten it. Oh well, I'm gonna get more points at the end of the week (I can't wait for Moar Than A Feeling, it was definately a favorite of mine from GH1).
In other news, my little brother got Brawl today as a present from my family, meaning I got brawl today

Why play it in Rock Band, when you can always air guitar it.

God, do I love Vegas 2! I got you already on my buddy list. No offense, but I forgot that IronSpartan57 was you. Currently I am on the Theater chapter of the campaign. Next time I see you on, I will send you an invite. I could probably finish this campaign myself, but it is more fun with at least one other person!

No biggie. I have been busy as of late. But, I'll try to get in as much time in before I'm off to Europe. So, far I'm only into the second mission of the campaign.

I picked up Rainbow Six Vegas 2 today. I got home all ready to play and then get some online play in, only to find out my XBL expired YESTERDAY! ARGH!
I won't have money to renew it until next week, I got to pay my stupid $170 ticket I got last month.
Also, when I do get XBL I think I'm going to change over to my profile. I'll let all you swampies know when I do.

Umm... Either my 360 got rejected for some unknown reason, or it just got replaced/repaired in less than 3 or 4 days... I could either be looking at holding a world record in faster repair time ever, or bound to get really pissed off pretty soon.
But anyway, I went to a vacation location in the last two days for easter/spring break. So I've been email-less for the last 2 days. So I never saw a "You're 360 is in the shop" status. I'm going to call later tonight and see if I can get some info...

No, there isn't. Yes, white Microsoft HQ is situated within miles of the Seattle city limits, (along with Bungie, Valve, Nintendo USA, Starbucks, and Boeing) there is no repair center here. It went to Texas and that's all I know. I still haven't called them and I'm too much of a wuss to probably do it. I'll wait till tomorrow and see what changes on the UPS tracker.
Went out early, had breakfast with my bro, then got this at GameCrazy:

+ The standard strategy guide
$35
I love this game so freaking much, now I've got the 12" Altair Figure and the Artbook. This thing rules!

Recent CD purchases (Thanks Target for not having what I want, so I had to go to the freggin mall and spend like, 20 bucks on each at FYE)

"A few times in my life I've had moments of absolute clarity. When for a few brief seconds, the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think, and things seem so sharp and the world seems so fresh. I can never make these moments last. I cling to them, but like everything, they fade. I've lived my life on these moments. They pull me back to the present and I realize that everything is exactly the way it was meant to be."

I still buy CDs, for a couple of reasons.
1. I like the inserts and album art.
2. Easier to rip to both my 360 and my PC, then play them in the car.
3. I support the artists I enjoy.
However, a couple of things have moved me into the realm of digital music.
1. There are absolutely no cool independent CD stores where I live anymore.
2. I have a Zune, and now it is easier to find what I want through the marketplace.
3. I get a discount on said marketplace points through where I work.

I haven't got it yet, but apparently it's unseen material.

Yeah it's wraps up the whole Ori storyline very nicely indeed. I hope they make more SG1 movies, starting to miss it already.

Also, a lot of beer and a bottle of champagne.

I achieved the rank of Master Sergeant today in Rainbow Six Vegas 2. I'm 16K away from Senior Master Sergeant.
The ONLY thing I dislike about this game is that I beat it on realistic and got NO achievement or decoration for my awesomeness. Other than that I love this game and wish I had XBL.
EDIT-WOOT! Made it to First Sergeant about 15 minutes ago.

Indeed. So far I've only completed 11 of the 17 achievements. Dunno if I'm gonna bother to try and get them all.
