If you read the character bio on the LA page, Mira is a bounty hunter with morals, who'd 'a thunk? So pretty much her stance is that bringing in petty thugs is one thing but contract killings and the like are completely out of the picture. Besides, why would she hunt you, you're supposed to be her ally?
EDIT: Oops, haha, I didn't answer your first question. Yes, pretty much every other bounty hunter who doesn't share Mira's outlook on the business is going to be after you, not to mention the Dark Jedi who are going to be on your case.

Imagine if you had to cut her hand off in that star wars style it would be a shame to lose that nice wrist mountedrocket launcher.
