*Raschel stands over Orthos' bed*

Raschel: What's wrong with him? *to Ellela* Aren't you a Jedi? Can't you use the Force to look into his mind?

----------

*Marin finds Aidan. She stands over him for a moment without speaking. His eyes flutter open weakly*

Aidan: You...you didn't...

Marin: Neither did you.

Aidan: No, you don't understand. I went...you didn't. I should have died. I didn't...but I did fail... People...people died...for nothing...

Marin: You're not well. You shouldn't be talking.

Aidan: It's...it's time. It's...enough.

*Marin is silent. After a moment she walks away*

*Marin walks in front of where Idun is sitting as she distances herself from Aidan. Idun looks up*

Idun: Is everything alright Marin?

*Drago looks at the apparently twelve year old girl standing in front of him in the bloody armour.*

Drago: You talk too fast for an old man to understand. Since that blood apparently isn't yours I'm currious how you came to be covered in it.

Allessa: Always blood and battles with you, why don't you get your harp and compse an epic.

Drago: I intend to, My Lady.

Hal: *Groans.* Leave him Lessa. Tell me, did I move well out there.

*Allessa throws up here hands and leaves.*

Elella: I can't see. It's almost as if something's blocking me...

-----------------------------------

*Orthos finds himself atop the pillar above the universe, that he has not been to since he left Coruscant*

Orthos: Why am I here! I won! Game's over now!

Unfortunately no

This is my business, Avatar. Orthos, you took part in a cosmic event that is not scheduled to happen yet. And now you plan to undo it all again. That, at least, fits the order of things. You see, you and the other bearers of this avatar should now be retiring to the Fields of Heroes, but as you're planning to erase this all, no one's going anywhere.

You've an interesting fate, Orthos. But you should choose.

*A doorway opens, and green meadows can be seen on the other side, with clear flowing streams*

If you choose to go through that door, the quest will be in vain. No matter how hard your friends try, they will not find the Time Matrix and be able to undo all this horror.
But if you choose to return to your world, you have a chance to change everything. You will forsake this reward for the defeat of Lokpihet, and will live out your life doing whatever you would have had the Crimson Star never exploded.

Choose

Orthos: I choose life.

So be it, mortal. You take the strength of the Avatar with you and will try to undo everthing that has been done since this quest began. This was hoped by my masters. For, if this is not undone, for reasons I cannot disclose, all that exists will be destroyed...

[Cough*Shunaria*Cough]

-----------------------------

*Orthos awakes*

*Gerd looks at Drago as if he just asked a very stupid question*

Gerd: In the battle of course, this blood is from the Heloki, Fenris Brood, and Sith that I slew.

*Valda comes up behind Gerd*

Valda *in a proud voice*: She fought along side Idun during today's battle, *placing her hands on Gerd's shoulders, Valda bends over and talks into Gerds ear* Svafa is awake and would like to see you before they take her to the ship.

*Gerd nodds happily and walks off to find Svafa Gurney.*

Valda: You still should take her advice on asking Heimdall about his forge.

*Marin looks at Idun*

Marin: No...no, nothing's alright. But that's the point of what we're doing, right? To change things. To put them back to where they were, to stop all this...

((Yes, they are wounded, and Gerd didn't recieve wounds for a very special reason that will be revealed later. It certainly is not because she is a better fighter then the others))

Valda: Sorry, your going to have to settle with water. A droid can get you a glass if you would like.

-------------------------------------------------

Idun: Yes that is the goal of this. Oh, there is also a surprise for you on the Asgardried, something that I fairly certain you will like. Now is there something specific that is upsetting you?

------------------------------------------------

*Gerd comes to Svafa gurney cautiously a little frightened and nervous. Svafa turns her head and sees Gerd looking at her, Svafa smiles and beckons Gerd forward. Gerd approaches, her face a little distraught*

Svafa: Is there something wrong Gerd?

Gerd: Are...are you going to be alright?

Svafa: Yes sweetie, I'll be fine I'm just tired and worn out at the moment.

*Svafa takes one of Gerd's hands in her own*

Svafa: By tomorrow I'll be back to normal, so don't worry about me, ok.

*Gerd nods her head in agreement.*

*Droids came to take Svafa to the Asgardried, stopping any further converstation.*

Svafa: Goodbye sweetie, I'll see you in the morning.

Gerd: Ok...

*The droids take Svafa out of the tent and to the Asgardried*

Orthos: How...how long have I been out?

Gortick: A while. Welcome back to the world of the living.

((I blame admiral for my not posting. I don't know how but I've been wanting to blame something on admiral for a long time now, this is my chance and I'm not gonna let it slip away dammit!))
*The cock crowed, none of the group Matt had seen near the end was doing well, but Matt sensed something wrong with Allessa, and turned around and saw that she was falling, and he quickly caught her before she hit the ground.*

((Not my fault that you over indulged in turykey JM. Shame on you. And your a little behind there JM... :P))

Valda: He is stable now, but Idun will need to further treat his wounds before he makes a fully recovery.

*A droid walks up and hands him a glass of water. The droid turns to Valda*

Med Droid: We still need to treat your wounds Lady Valda.

Valda: That can happen after the evacuation, your dimissed.

Med Droid: Understood Lady Valda.

*The droid walks off to aid another droid in taking Idona's gurney to the ship.*

*Idun gestures for Marin to have a seat*

Idun: No, you never told me about why you and Aidan are here. Why don't you do it now...

((I said in my last post that I had to go, that's why I just posted that.))
*Matt wandered between tents. The medic droid had said the Irvines were going to be OK, but they were still unconcious, he left Hal and Allessa alone, and was currently worried about Orthos. Finally he heard his voice coming from his tent and felt relieved.*

((Tanara has nothing to say ))

"I know she's not here!" Elaina screamed. "I can see that. Where is she?"

"We saw her leave on another ship," the droid answered, seemingly unafraid of this screaming girl. "The name of the other ship is not known to us."

Elaina sighed and ignighted the crimson red lightsaber she had retrieved. With it, she cut the droid to pieces. Feeling slightly better, she left the scene.

An hour later, Elaina managed to collect what information she wanted and had returned to the fighter. This landing pad was guarded by a human. He stopped her and asked to collect the money owed for landing there.

"You don't need my money," Elaina said softly. A look of surprise crossed the man's face. After a short time, he nodded slowly.

"You already paid me, didn't you?" he said. She nodded and brushed past him, sealing herself again in the cockpit of the fighter.

"You're weak," Kira's voice said. She had found that, though Elaina was Force sensitive, it took more than that to truly exercise the power. You had to be trained, but Elaina was not. Therefore, it was difficult, though not impossible for Kira to use the Force in Elaina's body.

"I am weak," Elaina agreed. "You are strong and have taken over. You have my best interests in mind... though I wonder what Tanara has to do with them."

"You will see in time," Kira promised. "You will see."

((WJ, soon she will. And Careful with what information Elaina got, the Asgardried doesn't go by it's rightful name, it also doesn't give out flight information. Just so you know, any official information will point to a wrong planet and a ship that doesn't exist...))

Idun: I'm not working at the moment, and your mental and physical welfare is just as important as anyone else in this tent. Heimdall did tell me that you and Aidan were slaves and the shadows are still hunting you. Since you've gotten here and joined us you certainly haven't had an easy life.

Now if you don't want to talk at the moment that is alright, just know that you can always come to one of us if something is bothering you.

------------------------------------------------------

*Tyr is the last one set on the pyre by the droids. Heimdall takes a torch walks forward and tosses the torch into the funeral pyre. The wood catches fire quickly and after a couple minutes the entire pyre is alight in a gigantic blaze.

Meanwhile Med Droids go into the recovery tent and take Orthos to the Asgardried. Another set take Idona.*

*Orthos motions the droids to stop as he passes the pyre*

Orthos: Some of those guys died to help me out there. There are good people on that pyre. We're Atredians, right?

*Orthos winces, and gets up, staggering over to the pyre, Elella and Gortick helping them*

Tanara stared at Matt for a moment before answering. Then, with a little laugh, she answered.

"It doesn't feel," she said. "I've been told it's temporary, that the permanent one will be a little longer and stronger. For now, this one is sufficient."

((WJ: Your welcome and that won't be a problem))

*The med droids set Hal down in his small cabin on the Asgardried. One droid turn to Allessa*

Med Droid: You are restricted to this deck, the deck above and below are off limits, as well as the bridge. Do not try and gain access these areas. You may stay in this cabin, however since it is small you have your own cabin across the hall.

*The two droids turn and leave the cabin*

((Just so I don't have to keep repeating things assume Drago and the guards have been given the same information about restrictions.))

----------------------------------------------------

*Orthos is also placed in his room and once he is situated in his bed the droids leave to get another survivor.

Vidar was the next one to be take from the recovery tent, Valda walked next to his gurney as the droids bring him into the Asgardreid. Bandages were wrapped around his wounds were red with his blood, although the bleeding had subsided. Vidar is taken to one of the starboard staterooms and set carefully onto his bed. *Heimdall stands staring into the flames, waiting until the wounded were fully loaded. A battle droid came up to Heimdall and handed him a datapad*

Heimdall: Thankyou.

Battle Droid: Your welcome Lord.

*The battle droid walks off*

Marin: Thanks. *She pauses* Actually...I was never sold, so I wasn't a slave. Aidan was. He was kidnapped when he was young, and...he fought in arenas. He didn't have it as bad as most slaves. He was popular, so he was allowed to have an attitude...until he escaped. The Shadows were given a contract on him about the same time as they were given a contract on me.

*She stares off at the wall of the tent*

Marin: One month without contact, two months if the contractor pays extra. That's how long Shadows will actively dedicate resources to contracted marks they can't find. That's how long Aidan and I were going to hide away. It was my decision to stay...I'm not sure if Aidan...well...especially after today...that was horrible...terrible to watch. And I didn't even fight.

*She sighs and looks back Idun, then down at the floor. She felt like crying, but felt much too embarrassed to let herself do it in front of a tent of people who had to be in immense amounts of pain, and weren't making a noise.*

So long as thier Kin yet live.

After today there are too few of their kin left.

Tanara sighed and looked away. "Yes, we spoke. She was trying to convince me to join the Sith."

In a soft voice, more to herself than to Matt, she said, "My sister is what keeps me where I am."

*Idun looks at Marin with sympathy, and understanding. She gingerly stands and places a hand on Marin's shoulder*

Idun: Come on, how about we go for a walk.

*Idun leads Marin out of the tent with keeping her hand on Marin's shoulder. Idun doesn't say a word until they were outside*

Idun: Had you fought, you would have been either killed or severly wounded. There is nothing wrong with your decision not to fight, it was the right one for you to make.

Matt: Were you separated?

Vader's wife was very pregnant when she died 19 years ago. All of a sudden a 19 year old who is very strong in the force and has a distinct resembalance to him in his younger days rolls in from Vader's home planet with his old Master Obi-Wan (Who was the ONLY other person preset at the time his wife died. And to boot, the kid's last name is Skywalker.

So in answer to your question, he knew Luke was his son because his name is Darth Vader, and not Darth Retard.

Marin: I know. Actually, I would've been trapped in morph, then severely wounded or killed. Telling myself that doesn't help. But...Aidan's the one I'm worried about.

----------

*Guy sits motionless in his transport, head bowed, the same position he'd been in for the last minutes/hours (?) since the fight had ended. Outwardly, especially with the band covering his eyes, he appeared asleep.

In reality his mind was somewhere else entirely*

Idun: Why are you worried about Aidan?

Tanara nodded. "Separated. More like torn apart." She sighed. "In our younger years, we were inseperable, though I was in training as a Jedi and she was not. During and after the Holocaust... it was different... she watched them..." here, she broke into tears.

"She watched our parents die," she said, regaining some control over her voice. "I was with my master... watched her die. Elaina and I... never managed to contact each other after that..."

Her voice faded into silence and she brushed at her tears with her temporary robotic hand, forgetting for a second that it was there. She winced slightly at the cold touch of the metal and dropped it softly into her lap. She looked again at Matt.

"Until I see her again, I will have no peace," she finished. "I will know that she is not safe." She sighed. "That is what pains me the most."

Outside

Marin: *hesitantly* I don't know...it's just a feeling. I wish he hadn't fought...no, I wish he hadn't come here. I don't think he could've just watched.

*She looks at Idun*

Marin: I still don't understand. Why did you Aesir have to fight this battle?

----------

Elsewhere

*Guy stands in a white void. He can see, and is dressed in his normal clothing, but has nothing else on his person. His transport was certainly nowhere to be found*

How did I get here?

*A girl's voice comes from behind him*

Girl: Who're you?

*Guy turns to see a short, olive-skinned girl with spiked black hair. She was dressed as a typical commoner from the planet Earth 'proper'. Guy hadn't traveled much on the main planet itself, so he couldn't be sure. She was speaking in English, without the benefit of a translator, so she was probably American, or perhaps European*

Girl: Well? Who are you? I'm not scared of you, whoever you are. You can't be worse than the people who caged me up back down there.

Guy: My name is...er, call me Guy.

Girl: Okay, "Guy". How'd you get here? Did you put this place here?

Guy: No... *He looks around, seeing nothing but white* Where is 'here'?

Girl: Heck if I know! I'm asleep, I know. This only happens when I'm asleep. I guess you are too?

Guy: I...this has never happened to me before.

Girl: *slowly turning in a circle* Usually I get plopped into another place. A forest, or a river. Different places. Not like this. Never just 'white'.

*She looks at Guy*

Girl: Maybe the universe is broken. Maybe this is like the 'loading program' from The Matrix. We're astrally-projecting or whatever you call it, and the universe can't figure out where to put us.

Guy: The Matrix? The Time Matrix?

Girl: Uh...no? The Matrix, like the movie? Please tell me you've seen it.

Guy: Oh Er. No. They, er, don't show many movies...where I live.

Girl: Oh... Oh well. *She's silent for a moment* Oh, by the way, my name's Chere. *She pronounces it Chay-ray, instead of the conventional method* It's nice to meet you, I guess.

Guy: It's...nice to meet you too. Do you...do you happen to know how to exit this place?

Chere: *Raising one eyebrow* I've always done it by waking up. Just wait a bit.

Guy: I didn't fall asleep to get here.

Chere: Well...I dunno what to tell you then. I'm no expert. It just sort of happens to me.

Guy: I hate to say that that doesn't sound encouraging. You're sure nothing like this has happened before?

Chere: I'm sure...
