Your avatar...
Tell us all the story of your avatar
Well, for some reason, I wanted an avatar of Yoda, so I found one I thought it was a bit boring, so I "Fired it up" a bit with Photoshop. This was when I was pHILBRUSH.

i'm back everyone!!! and you thought i was gone..
anyway, on topic.
mostly everybody knows what my av is, but i'll explain anyway just for the sake of this thread being here (and my post count ). basically, my av is a thumbprint, from the show "the mole". if a player gets a red screen after taking the quiz at the end of the round, they're eliminated, if they get a green screen, they go on to the next round. the thumbprint's actually supposed to be black in the green part, but i like the way it looks when it's white on the green part, so i just keep it like that. *shrug*

I USED to use that, but I found that Fireworks MX is much easier to use for some reason. At least for me. Especially for editing animated gifs.
My avatar is Nivek Ogre from Skinny Puppy. A band that has been important to me for many, many years. I am thinking about driving to Detroit, MI to go see them. Last time I saw Skinny Puppy was 12 years ago.

I had a rotating eyeball I picked up from a Rez site like two years ago. I've just recently gotten sick of it and decided to get a new one. I either wanted to get a sweet Shenmue or Psychonauts avi, but I gave in and decided to use this sweet Opeth one.
There's no earthly way of knowing which direction we are going. There's no knowing where we're rowing or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing? Not a speck of light is showing, so the danger must be growing. Are the fires of hell a-glowing? Is the grisly reaper mowing? Yes, the danger must be growing 'cause the rowers keep on rowing, and they're certainly not showing any signs that they are slowing. AAAGGHHH!!!

Mine is the US Elite soldier's badge, I picked it for two reasons, I really like "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon", and I joined because of Grim Fandango, and it kind of looks like Salvador (one of the characters)

Photoshop, incase you were wondering, it's an 'NJ', my initials, and most people should know what the N stands for considering the best part of my early days on this board was under that name.

I can understand that. When I was doing the band thing, my stage name was Taro. I always wanted to be a rock star with one name like Prince, Madonna, Falco, Bono...you know how it is. That makes perfect sense to me!

Actually, if it is a GIF, just open it in any GIF image editor, and click SAVE AS... and it should have a quality marker, from 1 to 100, just choose like 80.
My avatar is simple, but it comes from an avatar that I have had for a long time on other forums, but it was too big for the specs.
or For those of you who think that is a pink man.
and for those of you who don't check links in sigs,...

Play boy
Well, it all goes back to my podracing days, when I gained fame throughout the galaxy as Zoom Rabbit. When LF upgraded its bulletin service to VBB, I happened to be renegotiating my contract, so I put in the stipulation that they acquire the rights to the Sam and Max videogame franchise JUST so I could have this spiffily sarcastic *Megamax* avatar.
