Aiming Sharpshooter Droid

The search function on these forums is disabled for some reason, so I hope this wasn't asked before.

When you call in a strike with the sharpshooter's droid, does the strike hit the target in your crosshairs, or does it hit on the spot where the droid is (i.e. do I have to march the droid up right next to my target so it gets destroyed in the process)? Thanks!

It hits at where the Recon Droid is. When you activate the Orbital Strike, when that green bar goes away and stops beeping, that's where the bombardment will be. Yes, the Recon Droid is destroyed in the process.

Thanks... I've never had the opportunity to see a strike - how big an area does it hit?

It's really not that big. Maybe the size of a few grenades. But it's very deadly from direct hits.

It's decent against AT-AT's and AT-TE's, and will destroy a camping Rebel landspeeder and possibly an AT-ST.

yea, the "beams" hit where the droid is, So u'll have to move up close to the target
