So I suppose the Continent of Africa is a Pipe dream then?

Or hasn't it been built yet?

In Britain Bush is detested and despised so don't think the UK will be joining up with America any time soon especially after blair gets kicked out.

The EU as a super state is Something I've been predicting on IA that's why I think Taiwan should leap into China's arms.

I genuienly thought Emperor was emporer.

I agree Cosmo, err, a Vostok (nice avatar by the way) the world is more and more becoming like Orwinian in nature as in "1984". It is a great book. I should read it again. It has been a long time. I posted a thead about an ID chip that has been accepted for use by out FDA here in the good old USA. It is a radio frequency activated chip that works like a grocery store scanner. It is inserted under your skin. My cat has one. It scares me.

Well ID cards in Britain are being planned for something like 2008.

I can imagine the European Union becomming a major superpower.

Hmmm...

Decisions Decisions...

Shall I crash with someone over in Canada for 4 years, or go back to the Wang and declare it an Independent nation? I'll call it the Independent Sovereign Imperical Nation of the United Galactic Federational States [ISINUFFS] (I just threw in a bunch of big words), and declare myself Supreme Overlord! We shall hold the US hostage by keeping our Florida Orange Juice. Let's see them protect themselves from the flu now! Muahahahaha! We also have random themeparks.

I'm just glad Bush can't run again next election... if we're still alive in four years :/

Phreak, I do pity you. Were I staying on in Canada for the next four years I'd offer my
humble abode to US political refugees like yourself, but alas I must return to the 51st state that is Australia... one of the few western countries where hatred for Bush is not in the majority...

If you're referring to Africa in 1984, it is one of the contested territories between the superpowers, though Oceania controls most of it... much like today. If you're wondering why Africa isn't a superpower... well it isn't, it's the poorest continent in the world, it can't hope to compete with the other superpowers.

Exactly my point. I don't correct typos, I correct mis-spellings where people are under the impression that they're spelling it right. For example, I could tell you that genuienly is spelt genuinely, but I'm sure you didn't mean to type it that way so I won't bother to correct it (just to use it as an example of a typo).

Well, I am conservative in my political views and I have one thing that I have to say (ok, I have a lot to say, but all I'm going to say is one thing, this time anyway). Since the Republican party now controls the White House, and since they picked up even more seats in the House giving them even larger control there, and since they picked up four seats in the Senate giving them a 54 to 46 lead ratio in there, they really have no reason not to get their agenda accomplished. I am not a registered republican, but I tend to vote more for Republicans than any other group because they tend to be more conservative minded like myself, but they better do something this term because they have no excuse this time.

I'll say this, Bush better get the Nuclear waste to Nevada. One thing I disagreed with Kerry was that he said there will be no Nuclear watse disposal in Neva's Yucca Mountains. Even though that is the best place for them. Bush better get to it...

Yucca Mountaints > High level waste sitting in pools of water all over the place.

I was reffering to the African Continent as a unified nation the day it becomes a Super power will be the day we've build Star Destroyers.

I think it's more Likely gonna be Asia then the European Union with Britian and a few others.

A Revitalised Soviet Union because that's already started they just need to get rid of Putin's propganda machine and so called Democracy (well MANAGED Democracy)

Then there'll be SOtuh America and North America so America+ Canada then All the countires of South America together.

The European Union will propably be quite a power house when We get back on track from constant American interference.

No kidding either the Americans have been mucking around with European politics saying THEY don't want US to have a European Army and trying to prevenet a Superstate.

I'm strongly of the opionion that most politicians should be shot.

I always thought that "Yucca" Mountain was a great name for a Nuclear Waste site.

You know, that Africa has there own African Union not too dissimilar to the EU. It began I believe in 1999 as a loose coalition. It is not well organized yet nor are the different countries linked together as in the EU, but if they were to get together it might benefit them fiscally. Maybe, maybe not. That sort of thing is difficult to predict exactly how it would go because politicians are involved and they are difficult to trust.

I'm not real big on wide open free trade for everybody, or maybe not even with anybody for that matter. Maybe I'm selfish and greedy and bit of an isolationist when it comes to this issue, but I was never a big fan of NAFTA here. It's not that I dislike other countries or their goods, don't think that, I just have a desire to put American goods first because I am an American and I want to help out Americans first. I expect all other countries to want to put their own goods and their own workers and jobs first too, I take no offense for looking out for their own interests in that respect, its a matter of survival.

World trade is vital to all economies and a happy middle ground is necessary for a good strong economy to grow, regardless of its size, type and strength, so a government must decide how best to do it. I believe that wide open, free trade is not what is best for America right now. That could change in the future, and it means that we have to expect other countries to put tariffs on our exports, which is fair and the way it should be, no problem with me. If we can't make a product that can compete in the world market then get out of the market and find a manufacture that can. Simple economics my friend.

Having thought quite a bit about things, I've decided things aren't going to be all that bad with Bush in for a second term.

THE US economy has been on the rise in recent months, so hopefully that will continue with Bush in a second term. So although it took him four years, he's finally taking care of some domestic matters.

Internationally he's probably done all the damage he can. Honestly, things can only get better internationally; they probably won't get much worse. There won't be any more invasions; the other two members of the "Axis Of Evil" ( ) are too well defended and aren't as much of an economic bonus to control as Iraq.

Of course the main problem with Bush as President again is that the majority of the world hates him. I mean really hates him. Expect to see a huge surge in "Anti-Americanism" over the next four years.

As a side note, I find it amusing that "Anti-Americanism" is a common phrase, but there's no such thing as Anti-Iraqism or even Anti-Frenchism...

It's more anti-bushism. Lots of americans mix it with anti-americanism.

Anti-Iraqism and Anti-Frenchism doesn't exist because they say it doesn't

A good point that I am well aware of and one of my disagreements with the party. Also one of the reason I am registered as an independent and not as a Republican. If they were to alter this position more closely to mine I might seriously consider changing my official designation.

Did you guys hear that Mr. Arafat has passed away. The next year might be interesting to watch and see if Bush can help. I doubt that any foreign leader can really help the situation though. Again, I like staying out of things as much as possible, help when asked or when there’s a real threat to us, but let the countries work out their own problems. We don’t want anybody telling us what to do, why should we tell others what to do.

Teddy Roosevelt said to “Walk quietly and carry a big stick.” I think that is a great policy. Leave everybody alone and by ready to kick everybody's butt if they decide to mess with you just in case.

My dad always taught me to never start a fight, avoid trouble as much as possible, but (there’s always a but) if you find yourself in a fight, it doesn't matter if you win or not, just hurt the other guy so badly that everybody is scared to mess with ever again.

My mom was mad, but it worked.

Lots of conflicting reports on Arafat. As of now, we're still not sure if he's dead or what.

I fear that without Arafat, the Palestian might start a war for whoever controls the presidency. A palestinian civil war is the last thing the middle-east needs.

Yes the reports are conflicting, but to me that usually signals that it is actually true. I hope Bush doesn't stick his nose in that situation...

Not exactly, no. Going to Iraq wasn't (I'll admit) exactly keeping our nose out of other peoples business. I don't know what happened with the intelligence breakdown with the WMD information because I was convinced with all of the data given that they had it all and that it needed to be taken out. I guess I was suckered and I'll admit it.

But, have you guys been to this link yet? I think you really want to!!! Guess what, Palpatine has a . . . .

Great Avatar Vostok. At the time all I had at my disposal was the most basic of graphic editors (MS Paint, chokes), in due time you too will come to call me master. (Sorry, but its a habbit of mine to quote, my wife says its a disease.)

I was, however, among the first even if I'm not the best. Yours rocks Vostok!! I love those yellow eyes, how Maulish!!

Interesting idea, but if it were true, then I think that it would take away from Anakin's own power, it takes away his characters validity.

This is one of the best questions I've ever seen asked!

Before the text you want highlighted type the text "spoiler" (without the quotes) inside square brackets "[]". At the end of the text type in "/spoiler" inside square brackets "[]" "
" at the end, "
" at the begining.

Any questions?

EDIT: fixed my spoil to say spoiler. I got ahead of myself. Thanks for oversight notice Lukeiamyourdad.

That's a good policy, Froz. I remember lukeiamyourdad's "spoiler" of about a year ago about there being no battle in Episode 3...

Nitro, the easiest way to make the spoiler thingy is to click on the "Spoiler" button when you make your post. It's above the text box with the other buttons.

I've seen lots of spoilers. I've even seen people that seem to think they have a complete copy of the script somehow. Personally, I want to know very little. I want to know some of the stuff, like main characters and stuff like that, new characters, etc. Then I love guessing what's going to happen and why. If I'm right then great, if I'm wrong then great! It will be a great movie.

So true. Being a Sc-Fi fan, I have been to four Star Trek conventions. I attended one in which the entire script of Star Trek:Generations was basically layed out before me. It ruined the movie because I was not surprised about anything. I thought that I was so cool because I knew everything before hand. Sometimes when you get what you want, you loose.

Indeed. I remember going into The Phantom Menace knowing very little, whereas I had weakened and read a couple of spoilers for Attack Of The Clones. I think I'm at the point of spoiler knowledge right now for Revenge of the Sith where if I read any more I will regret it. So I'll try very hard to resist highlighting anything from now on

I agree. I definitely know much more for ROTS than I did for AOTC. I managed to know nothing for AOTC and I mean nothing. I stayed away from the boards and the net completely for about a year or two until about a month or so before its release. I got a box of Star Wars cereal that had a picture of Dooku and I said "Who's this guy?" and Geono-where? I think that's why I like it so much better than TPM.

I figured that the basic outline for ROTS has to go so much of a certain way that most any dummy can figure it out by themselves. Lucas has very little wiggle room with this movie I'm afraid. Only in the details. It will be hard to pull out any surprises.

If You say so Vostok

spoiler:
Those things are Geonosians But on close Examination they are riding a Pack Animal that looks like it may belong to the Acklay Family. Also just because a Fighter was designbed by Geonosians doesn't mean it will be ALWAYS be piloted by them.

I AM the prophet of the truth the protector of Star Wars Truism

Star Wars Truism by it's very nature is eternal and will outlive Star Wars Purism

Everything I say is a lie for the Truth is always greater than the words we use to describe it

Do you have any last words?
