What dose it cost to play online?

I got the PS2 Version of the Battlefront.

I need to get an adaptor for my PS2. But I was wondering how do you get to do a online game?

I mean how do you do it?

Do you attach a phone line to the PS2? If so does it cost money to make it work?

Cause I really want to go online as and kick some ass.

Cause if I like what I hear......very soon TANK COP will Rule the online gaming world! ^_^

The adapter hopefully should come with some instructions. At the place you are buying it ask for information. Hopefully people can help you.

On the box it says "Broadband Only."

I have the adaptor, and a wireless router... I have the wireless router because my internet connect and my PS2 is in another... I think it is a phone like, but I'm not sure...

The cable is probably CAT-5, and the end looks like a huge phone line connector (think it's RJ-45). I don't know if any console supports dialup gaming. I don't think it's likely though. If you have broadband internet, you'll probably be able to use muliplayer.

How much does it cost for Xbox live and what ever you use to connect the PS2? I only play PC games so I don't worry about the extra prices...I'm just wondering...

PS2 its also free. For Xbox, the cost is just the cost of Xbox live, which give you multiplayer for everything that has it. But I don't know how much that cost is.

Isn't the Xbox Live cost in addition to your broadband service cost? Ugh.

just buy a network adapter (ps2), a router (depands on your internet provider), and star wars battlefront (PS2) duh...

network adapter= 40
router = 60
game =60

total= 160 euro

im dutch and this is what i paid.

then start the ps2, enter the online cd, enter some codes and user stuff, reset the ps2, enter the star wars game, and hit multiplayer/internet. enter your spygame code (only with this game), if you dont got one then you can make one, and bamm your landed right between some stormtroopers ready for action.

Autumn wind of eve,
blow away the clouds that mass
over the moon's pure light
and the mists that cloud our mind,
do thou sweep away as well.
Now we disappear,
well, what must we think of it?
From the sky we came.
Now we may go back again.
