Question .x plugin for gmax???

With Luck3ys great new extraction tool with the ability to now extract model comes the need for a method of editing models and creating new models in the .x format. Where can one obtain a .x plugin for gmax? I tried googling to no aid .

you can export from gmax with panda exporter i think (do a google for it).

Softimage 3.0 (the free one) seems to perhaps be the way to go, dunno...

I'm hopeless in either of them

...
The EXP saves scenes to the .exp format, which can only be read by the EXP version.

The export of all data, except scene files, has been blocked.
