Start of year 3, please help...

This is likely to be a daft question, as daft questions are what I do best.

I am stuck riiiight at the staret of year 3, in the engine room of the Limbo. I have tried getting the anchors up, down, pushing the lever things back and forth, and whenever I ask Glottis for help he just goes "AAAAAAAAAAA!!!" which makes me laugh, so I lose my concentration.

Any hints anyone can provide will be most welcome.

I don't want to reveal the whole thing, but have you noticed that you can also look out of the windows? Read the rest if you dare.

You have to cut the ship in two by attaching an anchor to the window on the opposite side. Then pull the anchor back and it will cut the ship in pieces.
