Jedi and sith question

Hi i am new to this forum so i dont know where this question belongs so i'll put it here,
I admit I dont know a hell of a lot bout KOTOR but if there was a sith empire with a sith race, does that mean at one point there was a jedi race aswell??

Good Question.
I think the Sith is a religion, not an actual race. I mean anyone can be a sith just like anyone can be a Jedi. Its a belief. But I guess the "True Sith" were a certain Race. I had thought it was the Rakatan based on what you learned in K1, but Who knows.

The Sith was a race once, but then it died out long ago. True Sith and fallen Jedi who went to Korriban blended over the generations and now we see the Sith as they are. A religion of sorts.

And no, I don't think there would be a "Jedi" race. That's just being silly.
