*Pokes brightie* I'm an oldie now, too.
I wasn't around much back in your day, though. I'm sort of an... old-middie.
Yeah, a middie. An old-middie.

Niko's here, Natty's here, I forgot Storken existed, he rocked, Megamonkey... remember a bit, MagnusB was cool, Feral is found around here occassionally, haven't seen murta for EVA, NFGB, it's been awhile, Brief and the rest, long time no seen.

But hey, you still have me. XP

You don't have to be oldschool to play it oldschool.

Quick non-sequitir: You know what's actually not that bad? Rice pudding. I was under the impression that it was disgusting. It's actually pretty good.

There's no earthly way of knowing which direction we are going. There's no knowing where we're rowing or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing? Not a speck of light is showing, so the danger must be growing. Are the fires of hell a-glowing? Is the grisly reaper mowing? Yes, the danger must be growing 'cause the rowers keep on rowing, and they're certainly not showing any signs that they are slowing. AAAGGHHH!!!

You guys who want to highjack this thread are just feeling left out. Hey it's nothing against you, i'd just like to see some of my old freinds.

We were here since the dawn of the board....nearly.
Wheres the problem in just having a thread for people who have been here since 2001? Apart from the fact that theres obviously gonna be some immature jealousy.

So how's the longest 2 years of your life treatin you? And seriously, are you serious?! Eng lang and Lit? French? Law?! Who threatened you into that?

Ah well, at least you're not doing maths like I did (biggest mistake of my life, and that includes the time I got drunk and ended up on a river). good luck.

Don't ask, I was drunk and it won't happen again (hopefully)

But if you need closure, I was on a river. Or rather a very rotten pier. Nearly died that night. It was fun.

Near Death Experiences do get better and more funny with age, don't they?

I'm taking English Lit, 20th Century History, Politics and Philosophy so nah!

For the love of all that's good and holy, don't do Eng Lit! Read a book, you'll get the same education without having to write crappy essays.

Oh, and my "near death" experiance was made all the more funnier with the vodka content in my body. That and the fact that we got some girl to call the police to try and get us off the pier. We were gone before she'd finished the call.

My near death experience was made even more funny by the fact that I was sleeping at my dentist's house!

And I do read.. alot! I consider a day wasted if you don't read a few chapters of something.

All english lit does is over analyse books that may or may not be good (you never really find out after the analysis, in the end they're all the same) and over analyse poetry (by using the word fish here, which is from the sea, which is filled with water which contains hydrogen, we can see that the poet was really talking about her fear of war).

It's boring as hell.

We do that often in English 10. We analyzed the crap out of Lord of the Flies, and it wasnt so bad, because our teacher is awesome. One was of looking at the story is that Ralph is God and Piggy is Jesus, while Jack is Satan, because he was one of God's greatest angels until he was cast out for rebelling. Piggy's glasses were the rationality of the island. Slowly the glasses broke, and Piggy couldnt see cler meaning that the rationality level was deminishing. I find it somewhat interesting.
