Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
and
Goldeney 007.
Close contenders are last Ninja 2 and Midnight Resistance (atari).

Tell me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the best COMPUTER game you've played? Whats up with the console games listed?
Anyways, Jedi Knight, no doubt bout it. I even made a list of my top 10 games:

Last.FM - Ow, give up the funk
Let the truth of love be lighted
Let the love of truth shine clear
Sensibility
Armed with sense and liberty
With the heart and mind united

Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight and the expansion Mysteries of the Sith.
Many have come close, but none ever equalled the long-term fun I had with that one. It'll always have a special place..

I'm not much of a console gamer, but my all time favourite game is The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
As far a CPU goes....
Kotor 1, Madden NFLXXXX(buy it every year, never disappoints),
Fallout series, Tachyon:The Fringe (Bruce Campbell, What more needs to be said?), and Vampire:Bloodlines....It all depends on my mood, so I can't pick just one!!!

The KOTOR series rocks, as does the Jedi Knight Series (Dark Forces series). I'm also a great fan of the GTA series.

Oh yeah, the MGS series, MGS 1 (50 MB DEMO at Download.com) and MGS 2 are both on PC. Ummm, as for consoles:
Zelda, MGS TTS... ummm, the star fox series is good. Soul Calibur II was cool. 007 Everything or Nothing is probably the best 007 game EA has made. The gameplay was actually cool, and it appears that they put a lot of work into (except that last fight... and CG cutscene... so rushed it wasn't cool, actually it was disapointing)

I thought 007 series was made using elements of Half-Life, like AI or models... Right ?

So technically he should have said "video game," since that would cover arcade, console and home pc.

Emphasis mine! I'm assuming he meant the "entire series."

Do you mean GoldenEye was based on the Quake 1 & 2 engines? I never heard of any connection, in fact I just sort of assumed that the "007 games" used their own engine(s) but I don't know that for a fact. I would think if they used a popular liscensed engine I'd have heard about it. Not every FPS has to use an id Software based engine though.

I don't remember exactly anymore... I just know some 007 series' games were made around Half-Life's engine and AI... But which ones ?

I know one 007 game was made using the Q3 engine, so I have heard. It sorta feels "Q3ish"
Modern 007 games couldn't be from HL1... they look too good to be. Maybe an old N64/PS1 title... maybe. Tomorrow Never Dies was a game, wasn't it? I heard it sucked really bad though.

It was a PC game (Amongst other platforms...), if I'm wrong... And you're probably right when you say "Tomorrow Never Dies" was a bad game... (I believe it is the Half-Life's engine-based 007 game...)

The best game I have ever played is Deus Ex. It had a well developed story line, immersable locations, interactive game play, excellent hud system. It combines the best of FPS/RPG games. Runner up would be Jedi Academy, but only because it has an extensive modding community. Now if they could only combine the two, add Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator for air vehicles, Grand Terismo for land vehicles, vehicle damage, npc/item/world interaction like in Morrowind, they would have the best game in the universe.
