Well the fanbase in Australia is smaller, smaller population, more distributed around the country in terms of numbers in areas... no need to reserve tickets really unless you live in a really packed area.

That's why I'll be seeing it on the first day

i should be seeing it on the first day. there are a number of cinemas where i live but it's quite a small town so i doubt i will have any trouble getting a ticket .

I will be reserving my tickets for Episode 3 (and the screen I will be seeing the movie at has THE LARGEST screen in the St Louis Area.. 80x50 as opposed to 47x20

Here is a representation of just how big it is.

Pretty much, but its actually in a regular theater. and the Galaxy 14 Cine is only like 45 minutes away, which is well worth the drive to see Episode 3

I'll see it the first day if i can. I'll have to see it after school though, because everyone will know i'll be bunking to see it if i'm not there.

I saw on the news today some people who started camping outside the cinema yesterday (8/4/05 - in english date writing). I am probably going to book my tickets next weekend or weekend after that. It's a large cinema and small area, but only decent cinema for miles around so it's going to be packed.

I heard the same thing (people camping out as early as last friday) to get the first tickets to see the show. I MIGHT have to wait till the weekend (avoids thrown food) so that I get a better chance to go with a group and enjoy the movie then. (also allows for better chance of getting tickets (group by the way is 20+ people with 5 cars)

I will prolly see it in the first show, which probably means the same time as last time: 0.05 the day of the release.

Don't remember the exact day though, should probably check it again.

I'll probabley fall asleep dureing it anyway, even though it's SW! If I watch it in the day then I probabley won't even blink!

I will be seeing it at midnight. I live in a small town so no theatres here, but I would drive the 45 minutes to see it. I saw I, II at midnight so why not cap it off seeing the third at midnight.

I would like to see it at a midnight showing, but my local cinema doesnt have one. But i found out today that a cinema that i can get to easily does. But Im another one with restricive parents

but its also my dad's birthday and im not sure he wants a midnight birthday party.

If i wasnt so desperate to see it id ask Lucas why he cant bring it out during a holiday so that people CAN see it at the opening showings.

Anyone know when the big premiers are - with all the celebs and stuff? how can you get tickets?

Hey!!! I booked tickets for the first day after school

Its not a midnight showing but it is the 19th may and thats fine by me.

One of my friends said his brother's friend works in a cinema and so the guy and my friend's brother can see it on the 16th - grrrrrrrrr

Well, I booked my 2 tickets to see it the 20th (seeing it with a group at the 7:15pm showing) except my eagerness and hasty attitude ended up booking 2 tickets to a theater in Iowa!!! D'oh!!! So I need to call Cinetix on Monday and have them transfer the tickets from IA to MO... Apparently I am like the 20th person to mistake the Galaxy 16 Cine with the Galaxy 14 Cine... I mean its easy to do if you see the site... they have like 19 Missouri and Illinois theaters listed (main hub area of Wehrenberg) and then they go and list an Iowa Theater in the midst of all these Missouri and Illinois theaters (and the fact that 2 of their theaters are called GALAXY didnt help any!!!)

That's why I went to the cinema to book it with the people there - not over the phone/internet. It also means I get to pick my own seats (center and about 3 rows from the back - perfect).

And the guys in the cinema must be laughing everytime it comes on - a long time ago in a GALAXY far far away.

Well, for our theaters, its open seating so its pretty much first come, first serve. So I usually do center-center so that I get the full experience... whats nice is that the theater I am going to has over 70 individual speakers that are complimented by the IMAX screen

Ever since I was a little boy, Star Wars has been a part of my life. From Luke Skywalker, to Darth Maul, to last but not least, Darth Vader. The past 28 years have spawned generations of young jedis, wookies, boba fetts, and yodas. Why am I such a big fan? Its for the love of the film.

I live on Maui, A population of 150,000, with 4 large movie theatures. And when I saw Ep II it was on the 2 week. The theature was breaking at the seams.

Now that its Ep III, I'd have to wait now in line. Just like the guy on the Main Land (U.S.).

Yes, its true. I am going with a fairly large group to see it on the 19th at 10:30PM and then I am going AGAIN with my girlfriend (who bought the tickets) on the 20th to the 7:15 showing. And both are at the Chesterfield Galaxy 14 Cine, which has the MEGA Screen (aka IMAX) for showing Revenge of the Sith.

Gotta love Episode 3 Hype
