I think Atton and Carth in the same cockpit would end up in them trying to kill each other.....especially if I egged them on.

I agree with starmark2k, I'd love a Trandoshan! How exactly you get him could go something along these lines: at a moment in the game you encounter a Trandoshan and Wookie fighting, and can decide who to help. Help the Wookie: light side points and he joins your party, help the Trandoshan: mega dark side points, and nice Wookie pelt hanging in your ship. That way the Wookie lovers are kept happy!
I'd love a bloodthirtsy mercenary type guy too, like that Iridorian you encounter in Manaan.
Please, no more Cathar's! Juhani is so annoying in KOTOR I.
I'd also like Atton, or a character similar to Atton to return. When I played through KOTOR II the third time, found out about his past and turned him into a Dark Jedi, he went from a regular old fool to a really cool character.

I liked the mandalorians but it never gave you much of a chance to join them i thing it would be cool to have canderous back or just another mandalorian and id like to a force sensitive selkath on my team that spoke galactic basic i thing that would be really cool. I really want to see some more aliens though ive already said that about 5 times so you can ignore this if you want.

I don't want a Selkath even if it did speak basic. They might just be one of my least favorite species.

what about kelborn? he was never a party member, but he would be a returning character, plus, he was like mandalore's #2, so that way we could still have a connection to canderous, and he may still play a part in K3, but he wouldn't need to join the party again (its kinda weird for him to go from lv1 to lv20 back to lv6 then up to lv36 and then back down to lv6 again)

I'd like to see a new cast except perhaps for HK and T3. I'd also like to be able to make the player character non-human. It would be kinda cool to actually play a Twilek or something. It would also make the universe feel a little less humano-centric.

Nah, I wouldn't want to play as an alien. I liked the feeling I got of "my fellow humans and I against these alien scum!". Especially on Nar Shadda!

well it all depends on who we are going to use in K3, for instance here is my theory:
REVAN
Handmaiden
T3
HK 47
Bastila
Mission
Zaalbar
Mira
Atton
Visas
EXILE
The original from Kotor 2
Mission
Zaalbar
see you couldn't have Jolee or Juhani because you either killed them or you didn't depending on which side you chose in K1.

Well that would be true for all the characters in K1 with the exception of the droids and canderous.

Species I'd like to see in the party (not all):
Twi'lek (this time male)
Rodian
Noghri
Rodian
Sullustan
Trandoshan (perfect DS party member)

Eeeew!
I always thought the Twi'lek males looked gross. They have this whole second chin tentacle thing going on that was really unappealing, but hey the character might end up being really cool.
Completely agree, this would also make for some good jokes too since Rodians are suppose to smell bad.
Have to admit that despite my vast SW knowledge, I have no idea what these are. Could you explain or have a picture or something?

A Kel Dor is what Plo Koon is. And I agree, they're very interesting, as are Togrutas(Shaak Ti's species), and to a somewhat lesser extent the Nautolans(Kit Fisto's species).

*Suddenly misses old avatar* Hey the Nautolans are cool! I mean, sure Palpy pwned kit fisto, but he didn't pwn him nearly as hard as he pwned Sassen Tinn and the Zabrak guy! Plus they are like big alien rastafarians whose lightsabers work underwater! With a fantastic smile no less, thats more than Plo Koon had! Beat that!! i bet we wont see any tho, their head models would be insane, but man on man i would like to

Heheh, but if Palpatine didn't pwn Kit Fisto I would be disappointed with the Sith powers he had! Zabraks are cool, but we already had Bao-Dur... Saesee Tiin's species are pretty nifty too though! The Iktotchi I think they are called...

Female Zabrak ]
Totally with the Noghri idea!
Maybe even a Bith, like a Tech Specialist or something...

LOL
Don't worry, I'll change it in a month or two. (Probably change it to another cartoon avatar).
Anyways,
I want HK, TK, and Canderous/Mandalore back. They are the only ones that survived KOTOR 1 and KOTOR 2 so it would be best that they came back.

I found myself much more attached to the NPCs of Kotor 1 then 2. Carth, Bastilla, Jolee, Canderous, Juhani, Mission, if you ask me, all great, in depth, fleshed out characters with mindsets and personalities of their own. In Kotor 2 I pretty much just liked Atton (someone I could really relate too) and Mira. I liked Visas just because she was a miraluka, like Jerec, pretty much. And Kreia was fascinating in the fact that she fell to the darkside because of her own failed padawan, Revan. But I think the NPCs of Kotor 1 live long and higher then Kotor 2.

I like the ideas about the Nautilans very much. They don't habe that kind of weird bobles (don't know the English word, sorry) on their forehead, like the Twilek-males. It really anoyed me, considering the Twilek-females didn't have m, and where fairly cool.....
Also, the Zabrak are a bit gimmick-like, since everyone equips Bao-Dur with a double-bladed lightsaber and a black armor....*Ugh*Darth Maul*Ugh*
The Nautilans would be a great Aliens race since they are fairly muscular compared to the humans, and fairly cool. Also, why did no-one considder a Mirakula as PC? Would be cool, lifeless eyes, Uber-Jedi powers.....
Another point: In many screenshots of Kotor 1 i see people playing with the half-long hair-male. Didn't it bother you at all there wasn't one in Kotor 2?
I will conclude: The Chraters iw ould consider great are:
-Nautilans
-Mirakula
-Twilek CAN be cool....if re-designed without the strange things on his forehead.
-Long heared PC, more mullet-like as Obi-Wan, Anakin, or even a pony-tail like Exar Kun.

He would seem more mysterious if he was the only one of his kind in the SW universe, but since the appearance of Yaddle, I think it's about time they explore that.

The two droids need to come back. As for anyone else, the only person I can see coming back from K1 is Bastila, since she pretty much survived K1 (She could die theoretically, but that was by killing her while playing LS, and who does that?), and is sort of tied to Revan. From K2, the only one I think would come back is Visas, as she does mention following you around after killing Nihilus. (I'm of the impression we'll be playing the Exile again.) Besides those 4, I'm hoping the rest will be new.

some immoral characters
i would like to see a few darker characters. I dont just mean dark sided jedi, but some real horrors. At least one character who was as trigger happy as HK, as remorseless and Canderous, and as manipulative as Kreia. I personally became quite fed up with the constant lighthearted blabbering with Mira, Bastilla, Carth, Atton, Visas. It would be nice to have a character who truly responded to cruelty in conversation and who reflected so in his actions.
but no matter what keep the influence idea (but maybe add a way to check your influence on each character) and perhaps integrate it into their actions sort of like a morale level in basic turn based strategiy games upon which their willingness to back you up on your decisions is based. This way you cant be walking around with a light side jedi and a pirate and expect everything to be hunky dory.

I like the idea of being able to choose. I am sick and tired of all the humans you get in kotor 2 so i'd like to see some aliens. I would also like to see a female twi'lek force user like aayla secura. and a good balance of force users/can be force users. and the ones that you can make into jedi should change their personalities once they do.

i think the influence system needs to be tweaked just a tad. first of all, like everyone else has said, if you are lightside and have full influence with Visas, she should probably not want to cleanse the onderon cantina of life, and if you are full darkside, and have high influence with handmadien, she probably shouldn't be lecturing you on all your dark side doings,
but in aditiont to this, i think it should be harder to gain influence with characters who are inherently opposite of you. after my first conversation with Visas as a lightsider she had practically full influence and was just shy of lightside mastery. Visas is a sith, it should be much harder to gain influence with her than it would be with Bao-Dur, who is very lightside in nature. It shouldn't be impossible to gain influence with these characters, but the way it is now, its like a bond movie where there is an evil female villan working for the bad guy, bond sleeps with her, and poof by morning shes one of the good guys, drooling all over bond and making his martini. If a character starts as darkside, i should have to work a lot harder to bring them back to the light, especially since according to all the movies, this task is near impossible. corrupting a character to the dark side would be a lot harder. perhaps you could even involve the characters will save or something similar to see if they have enough will power to resist you're temptation. well, maybe not will, since that is used for other things more important, but some kind of dice roll that is mulitiplied by the characters standing on the light/dark continuum
EDIT: @Ztalker: YES! Another Nautolan Fan!!
