I just got that too! I came here about my new computer though. Upon putting it together a few weeks ago, I discovered that my video card - one of the few parts I kept during the transition - wasn't working properly. So I sent it away for warranty, and they sent me this as a replacement:
I didn't have the dual fan version originally, so that's a bonus. So now everything is up and running; I can run the KOTOR games again. As for the rest of the setup...
So one of my pals needed to move back here. Ran out of money, no jobs, too expensive in San Diego. I make a whirlwind trip from here to there, and back in 2 days on sunday and monday.
Decided to stop at one of my favorite electronic candy stores on the way back.
Picked me up one of these.
It's a "variac". Variable autotransformer for my evil experiments in my lab late at night. WOOOH-HWA-HWA-HWA!
Nobody here gets that gaming reference. Now I'm a saaaad panda.

These glasses made my life, because I love mustaches. If you have a mustache I love you. I wear them everywhere, but I always get weird stares, except in Walmart.
It runs quite nicely with my "Sandy Bridge" Core i5 laptop with Nvidia graphics. Needless to say, I think my laptop is future-proofed quite nicely now.

I know, not a big deal to all you whose digestive tract can handle dairy, but for myself this is HUGE since I have sorely missed ice cream due to discovering my lactose intolerance. This stuff is awesome good.
Oh sure I can eat lactaid but that doesn't help much if the food itself is liquid--maybe stop the bloating, and erm...nasty reaction to put it kindly, but it'll still go through in an irregular "fashion".
That's okay. I love this blood orange flavor so much anyways. And apparently I'm not the only one in the house. Someone has been eating MY sherbert.

I got myself a fun new device to consolidate from owning both an iPod touch and iPad. So, in their stead, I now have a black iPad mini 32 GB (WiFi Only). And, I am definitely loving it for being portable while still retaining the power of tablet-optimized apps.
It had 0 compatibility it would only play games from kotor onwards (up to about 2007) and any of those other games had a 50% chance of working eg. kotor 2 (which I had to start and restart 5 times before it loaded).
I wear them everywhere, but I always get weird stares, except in Walmart.
