need opinions on mask

I have designed a new mask for TSL, I wanted to make something like a cybernetic eye implant(whatever these things are called). It is intended for a darkside character. Here are some screenshots:
http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/4667/screen74tm.jpg
http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/4387/screen82ow.jpg
http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/867/screen99dd.jpg
http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/7492/screen102pa.jpg
http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/952/screen111kz.jpg

It is not yet ready, maybe I will make some better texture for the part that covers the eye(and maybe even remodel it). But moreover I am wondering which one looks better the medium shiny version(first screenshot), the shiny version(screenshot 2,3) or the non-shiny version. Maybe someone could provide some input? Oh, and any idea for item properties would be welcome.

It's a cool mask, definitely different, the only thing I would change on it would be to make the 'bridge' from the temple the eyepiece more visible and come further off the head. Once again though, very nice model!

I don't know, maybe its just me, but I have a hard time seeing those pictures as the lighting is kinda dark in the area that I am trying to observe. Of the screenshots I can see 2 and 3 look pretty good. I like the shine compared to the dark though of what I can see. It does seem a bit small also, would expect more 'machinary' near the temple and perhaps extending downward.

I have gotten valuable information, and will adjust these things. I agree they were a bit small, the stuff further to the side is barely visible in the game. Maybe some more ideas?

I like it, I actually made one sensor implant type thing for K1 very similar to yours except I didn't make the eye piece a cap, it was more of a lense out an inch in front of the eye. I eventually scraped it though.

Have you equiped it on other PC's or npc's, because the biggest problem with making the masks so tight to the head is that its very likely it will only fit a few heads without clipping badly. It can be compensated for(tweaking it can be a pain) and you may have to restrict its use for a few npc's.

Yes, I will have to restrict it to some (N)PCs, it works with the female models I have tested(PFHa05,pfha04,PFhc06,PFhc05) and Mira, it needs to be bigger and repositioned for the males, so I need a special version for male models.

Wow, thats a nice model you have there. If you could make a male version and a female version and release it I would most certainly use it ^_^

I will watch this thread with much anticipation

I really like this. The only in game mask I ever use it the Verpine(I think thats spelled right) one with the clear, red face covering.

Whats the point in picking a PC head just to cover it up? hehe

Very nice!!

Any idea of the stats it will have?

Thats pretty sweet. I like shiny... but then, i'd prefer a lightsider version too.

as to properties.... lets see... sniper shots, Att. bonus, stealth field nullifier, perhaps an awareness bonus... force sight( though I still don't know where that is valuable)... improved reflex save and BBDefl... a Const. requirement, since its essentially an implant.... anything you can effectively rationalize to be enhanced by cybernetic vision.
nice work.... good luck on the finishing touches.

Have you try to move headgear hook dummy? I think Headgear are linked on this. At least the heads who don't have that dummy don't show any headgear.
