Heroes on old maps?

Will there be heroes on maps like Rhen Var and Bespin? I've heard no mention of anything about that, but it seems unlikely they wouldn't add heroes to those maps.

Also, will we see new vehicles on old maps, i.e. ARC-170's on Bespin Platforms?

Rhev Var is not in BFII. But I think there are heroes on Bespin. . Yeah, there is! I saw a video of Luke Skywalker in the Carbon Freezing Chamber. I think there might be Episode III vehicles on old maps, I don't know. Even if there isn't, a mod can change that

I don't think either Bespin or Rhen Var will be in SWBF2, but for old maps that are returning in general (Theed, Jabba's palace, Yavin IV etc). Yes I believe heroes will be included in these maps, theres no reason not to, and when appropriate yes we will probably see new vehicles on some of the older maps.

Check the "Load" file in the Beta. It shows Bes1 and 2, as well as Rhn1 and 2. So apparently they will be there, and besides, Pandemic said they wouldn't be removing any old content. And besides, if an unchanged Yavin is there, why not Bespin?

Well...I have been to the Lucasarts forums at lucasarts...and some of the moderators and game developers said there will be no Bespin or Rhen Var (also not in the guide...from the forums)and Space Endor will only be in Galactic Conquest.

Hmmm... McCusto, can you give us a link to the video you spoke of?

Also, can I have a link to the guide on those forums?

Btw, Angarah, that's got to be the winner of the "biggest sig on LFN" award... ! Might want to shrink that sucker down.

I like Angarah's sig, it's so much fun to watch...

Just as I feared, Bespin won't appering in SWBF 2. Maybe they will include it in a patch, like Jabba's Palace for SWBF or hopefully some modders will be able to make a Bespin map for SWBF2

Theyve also taken out prone, that kind of sucks for all the snipers out there.

Just to nitpick, but the Death Star II could have moved, it need not be stuck floating around Endor (and I know that "violates canon" but since when has that ever stopped the SWBF team? lol).

I'm guessing those maps are going to be included, unless they ran out of time for some reason, then I'd assume they'd be added in the patches. But really, the space maps should be easier to finish than the others (unless they figured we'd get bored doing the same stuff just with a different background).

I guess to be on the safe side, don't assume something is in the game, and you won't be disappointed if it turns out to be true!

There is definatly a Space Coruscant, as it is the PS2 demo... and I've played it. There is no reason to make an entire map just for a demo, that would be a waste of the devs time.

lol, erm yeah theres space Coruscant in the full game, it's the best space map.
It's the battle above Coruscant it's a crucial Prequel Battle they would never leave it out of battlefront.

The Space Coruscant game in BF II is much larger than the demo.

Demo? What demo? (PS2? Xbox?)

If you mean the beta, Coruscant wasn't in it, rather we had Space Yavin.

Are all the Space Assault maps the same? The beta one had your two capital ships, your destroyable frigates (can't go inside) and that's about it. The rest is just space to fly around in.

The PS2 demo...well..I think all the space assault or similar to each other (different landscape is about it....from what I know.)

I hope that the space battles are diffrent in number and position of capital ships as well as background planet and space debris, so they give you a good variety of space fights. The battle above Yavin IV was a smaller space battle, basicly a 1 vs 1 capital ship duel, whereas Space Coruscant is and Space Endor should be chaotic and have a lot more capital ships and frigates. Every other space battle would be somewhere between these two extreams.

What I really hope is we don't get is 1 vs 1 Yavin clones for every space battle exept Coruscant.

I agree with ParanoidAndroid...it would be rather boring just playing 1 on 1 battles.

There are 1 on 1 battles but there are different kinds of debris and the ships positions aren't always the same.

You haven't seen it!?

It's the best out of all the Star Wars movies, it really is.
or at least it's best of the Prequels.

Yes, definetly see the movie before you play the game, you get a better "ive seen this place before" feeling, it should make the maps more fun.

Well....there was like four capital ships and a bunch of starfighters.....also just to confirm, to what I meant bigger is there is more objectives and more space to move around and you'll be able to enter rooms in the capital ship.

I also have a question..though it may be stupid...I have no idea what it is...what does pwn mean?
