PC vs. XBOX vs. XBOX 360

Enough for a while with the in-game arguments. Now if K3 was released what kind of platform would you guys like K3 to be released first.

All at the same time. That way it favours all and none.

At the same time if they can. I would rather have them do PC version first, but that is just because that is what I have. So I don't really care about it, although I would rather have them do it on the PC, so I can start playing it immediately.

Please make it for PC. I don't want to lose KOTOR to a tetris box, like James Bond games.

All at the same time. We got screwed over (PC people, that is) twice now. Don't screw us over a third time.

agreed. and honestly, by the time K3 hits the shelves, the Xbox will probably be long obsolete, so it would have to be the 360.

of course, there's really no telling if LA could decide to make it a PS3 game as well, given the the PS3 is more powerful than the 360. just some food for thought.

YEP PC ALL THE WAY!!!

and besides, it's easier to install mods in PC if K3 is moddable(please correct me if my spelling is wrong)

Most decidedly PC, considering all the modding talent around here that would soon be unleased upon it.

Especially if they use the "simultaneous" term again, they should mean it this time.

I'd like to see Kotor 3 developed FOR PC and ported for consoles, not vice versa, because sometimes you do notice the console origin when those games get ported for PC.

Personally I want K3 to be both XBOX and PC because I would play it anyway. I'm not into the technical aspects really

I understand how racing-games and stuff like that is pop at consoles, but seriously...

RPG, First-Person Shooter, Tactics-games etc will never be better on console than on PC unless you connect a keyboard and mouse to it. In my opinion, PC's conquer all gaming consoles.

So, I would like for Knights of the Old Republic III, and any other game for that means necessary, to be released on comp's before any other.

PS! Mac gaming sucks!

If you mean the selection of games for mac, yes, it does suck. Although trust me, there are some great titles out there that were first for mac. And I have a mac, most of my games are on one. Except for KotOR I and TSL, they are on my PC. They wouldn't work, and besides, TSL isn't for mac. But playing on a mac isn't much different than PC. We have keyboard and a mouse.

Either PC, or simultaneously. PC because that is what I have, and because it lets the modders start doing some stuff with it really early, and thirdly, because console gaming for that kind of game is terrible. It is so much easier to play it on a PC.

I've got a mac myself, and we just haven't got along very well, hehe... That's why I hate mac... In theory, yeah, mac is great in it's own ways, and in some games it does actually work.

But, come to my house, and get a whole other mac experience than the one we see in comercials :P

I would release them all at the same time. I personally prefer PC (although I occasionally play consoles too).

I'm with those that voted for the PC. I have an XBox right now but I just don't play it very much so I don't plan on getting an XBox 360. What I am really considering now though is that it's pretty much a given that if KotOR 3 is made it will be made for at least one of the major next-gen consoles (XBox 360 or PS3). And that will mean either some serious modifications to the game engine so it can use the multiple-core processors the new consoles will have or a complete overhaul of the game engine. Of course that will have impact on the PC version that I hope LucasArts would continue to support as well as the modding community (I hope Fred Tetra's KotOR Tool isn't thrown too much of a curve ball with all this). But such is the nature of technology...

It will be released on X-Box first.

I'll wait the extra 2 weeks to a month and get it for PC, though.

I want it to be released on all at the same time, but if that doesn't happen I wan the PC first. The Xbox 360s are expensive.

I love modding, but personally I'd rather play through it at least once on the 360 (x-box way to obsolete for nex-gen kotor) PC is gravy, but when it comes to actually playing, I prefer a smooth gamepad and a reclined position, it just feels more relaxing that way, and that's the first impression I've had with both titles ( I originally bought Kotor just to flesh out my X library) then after having enjoyed the game that way, I'd get the PC version and procede to tear it apart story mod style

PC definetly first because my computer is locked by password and no one can mess with my games muhaaa!
Still I would have PC first then XBox. I was thinking of upgrading to 360 but my brother said what's the point. Anyway I'm going to get one for PC and the other for XBox.

Well, I'd say your brother has never tried a 360

But by the time my area gets more 360's (about 10 launch day systems in this quarter of the state) KIII will be out, so I might get it for PC first after all.

I just can't see the justification in trading my trusty XBox for the 360
