(Yeah, I'm gonna let her have a breakdown, all girls need one, and all girls have them at the exact WORNG time)
"A few times in my life I've had moments of absolute clarity. When for a few brief seconds, the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think, and things seem so sharp and the world seems so fresh. I can never make these moments last. I cling to them, but like everything, they fade. I've lived my life on these moments. They pull me back to the present and I realize that everything is exactly the way it was meant to be."

(what, Eva likes music. And according to an unknown background thing I've created, lives in NYC with her best friend~the one who she picked up smoking from~ and plans to attend theater school.)

Vernon appeared behind Eva, taking her hand.
"Eva," he said calmly, "I'm here."

"Thank goodness, I'm really freakin' scared. I'm totally having a breakdown and I'm singing Phantom of the Opera." She said really fast, the tears still running down her face.

"Don't worry, if all goes-"
Vernon looked overhead, to see an attack chopper hover above him, as a couple more joined formation.
"Okay, ****. I'm not sayibng worry; just don't move."
Vernon grabbed a pipe from the ground, jumping into one chopper, cracking open the glass, and ripping out the soldier forcefully, throwing him to the ground, as he did with the next four.
"Anyway, I figure it's about time we got to the tower," Vernon said, landing with a thump.

"Good idea." Eva said, wiping the tears. "The sooner we can get out of your head, the sooner....umm, I'll tell you later. Let's just go."

Vernon lit up a cigarette, looking up at the flaming tower. "Hey! Down there!" Razputin yelled. "He already fled the city!"
Vernon looked, seeing a humongous air transport sputter to life and lift off. "Not quite!" Vernon yelled. "Order the troops to concentrate their fire on the cockpit!"
He saw a horrible explosion, and screeching of airplane parts flung across the land and scraping the ground.
He closed his eyes as a part came at him, awakening in the real world, Sasha and Milla right next to him, and Eva in front of him.
"I am getting so drunk," Vernon muttered, walking away.

Eva sat on a bench. "Crap! Those candles!" Eva ran out of the lodge, to discover the candles had all burned out.

Eva was now bored. The sun was setting, and she had basically had the strangest day of her life. She went to the cabins to lay down.

Eva didn't sleep. She layed in the bunk, thinking about all that had happened.

Vernon looked up to the sky, gathering his things. He opened the gates with a creaking, as he headed for the place where he could finally stop it all: Chicago, the Psychic Broadcast building.
He began trekking, he would pick up a vehicle on the way.

Eva was still lying there when she felt somthing wrong. Sh got up, and found the camp gates opened.
"Vernon?" she called at the gates, "VERNON, COME BACK!!" She fell to her knees, "I guess he only wanted to toy with my emotions." Tears came down her face, she felt a rage from withen her, she wiped the tears from her face in fury, and yelled "i HATE YOU VERNON TRIPE!! GO TO HELL!!" she then walked off in a huff, to retreat to her cabin.

Vernon heard the voice behind himself, walking away silently into the night. "I can't think about her," he whispered.
Within minutes, he was on his way to Chicago, shedding a tear for those he had left behind: for he knew he would have to sacrifice himself.

Eva reached the main lodge. She found the rose on the ground, and she picked it up. Eva then lit it on fire with pyroknesis, droped it to the ground, and yelled out "VERNON,
YOU WILL REGRET THE DAY YOU DID NOT DO, ALL THAT I WANTED YOU TO DO FOR US!!" She quietly shed a tear, then walked to the beach, leaving the ashes of the rose.

(I just got back from target. I threw up on all the soccer moms who went there at 7 A.M. for after christmas sales.) Eva sat on the docks, it brought back many memories of the day. He clouded her mind, so she ran. Eva grabbed her sai, and ran for the gates.

"Speak to me," Vernon whispered, up to the tower he saw so clearly. "Breathe."
Vernon looked up to the tower; noticing huge arms extending from it, planting themselves in the ground, crushing everything nearby. More and more extended, pushing forward, raking everything in. "It's already began," Vernon whispered, as everything began to plunge into darkness.
When he opened his eyes again, he was riding a train into a gigantic city, as he watched another train destroyed by a gigantic blue creature with scythes for arms.
"What're you doing without a mask?" A citizen asked him. "The gas'll turn your blood to foam faster than you can think. I got a spare."
He handed it to Vernon, who put it on. "You gotta be careful. Mine broke down in another city; I'm lucky to be alive. Keep a spare handy."
Vernon looked around. He was in the future, witnessing everything after the Psychic Army took over, turning the planet into a hell for their own mysterious needs.
"I have taken it upon myself," Maloof muttered from audio casts around the city, "to drain the oceans. You may think this is a poor idea; however, our supply of water is limited and we will need it for desalinating and drinking."
"That crazy bastard," another citizen whispered, lying on the train's bed. "We always knew he would do something drastic like that, ever since he took over."
"Oh," the first citizen said, calmly, "we're almost here."
"Great, I go from one city to another and I never find home," the other citizen said, getting up and heading to the door.
"My god," Vernon whispered, as he looked at the city full of dismay, skies red, and haze floating around them.
"Yeah," the citizen next to him said, "where have you been?"
***
Vernon made his way out of the trainstation, looking around. This was dystopia. Buildings crumbled before his eyes, in a state of terror, as soldiers patrolled the city, no longer even using psychic talents but brutal weapons to enforce the law.
"Oh no," Vernon said, looking back. "What if Eva comes here?"
He knew she had to be mad: he did, in fact, leave without notice or anything.
Vernon began dashing away. He didn't know where to, but he started running.

Eva stood outside the gates, knowing he had already gone away. She took her sai, and pushed it into the outside of the gate, securing a note, in case he returned. She then walked off, shedding a single tear.
