'Green' laughed. "Think I could get a transfer here?" she asked. "Dunn's old and boring unless he's screaming at you. You seem like you'd be a more interesting boss."

Then, she shrugged. "I'll tell him what you said, but he'll scream at me and then come to scream at you. Be ready."

Logan looked after 'Green' as she left. She had guts. Wouldn't be a bad addition. He looked back at the report.

Half an hour later, a rather plump man with thinning gray hair stormed into Logan's office. His face was red before he even had the chance to say anything.

"Gimme info, Logan!" he snapped. "I don't care about jurisdiction... this is my state as much as it is yours and I want that INFO!"

Logan stood up, just as angry as Dunn.

"Well, I would, except last time I did that, the bad guy got away. You know why he got away? BECAUSE HE READ THE WHOLE ENTIRE ****ING INVESTIGATION IN HIS MORNING PAPER! Coincidentially right AFTER I had passed the info onto you!"

"As if he wouldn't have if you didn't give me the info?" Dunn demanded. "You know very well he got away because your men got in my way!"

"The guy destroyed the evidence. The same evidence we told you we needed the previous day! If it was anything, it was MY guys having to wait for yours to arrive before they could go in that ruined the damn thing!"

"ON TIME!?" roared Logan, several people now stood right outside the office watching the spectacle. Logan let them. "IT'S A GODDAMN TAKEDOWN! IT'S NOT SCHEDULED, IT GOES DOWN WHEN IT GOES DOWN!"

"And when there's NO COMMUNICATION, how the HELL can you expect us all to get there WHEN YOU DO??"

Dunn ignored the people watching, including 'Green', who'd been forced to drive him over.

'Green' stifled laughter and was glared at by Dunn before he continued.

"Gangs are more than just a local problem, Logan," he snapped. "Get that into your head and GIVE ME THAT INFO!"

Dunn collapsed into the chair behind him and 'Green' came forward. "Congratulations, Captain Logan," she said. "You've..."

"I'm not finished, Green," Dunn rasped. He tried to stand, but couldn't manage it. "Just give it to me..." His voice had fallen almost to a whisper.

"Look, you want to keep an eye on this investigation, temporarily transfer one of your people here. But I'm not going to give out information just so the same thing will happen."

Dunn glanced at 'Greene' and shrugged, beginning to regain his breath. "It's up to her... she's not full time with me."

John came out of the board room and called a Gang meeting.
"Ok boys, its time to put on 'The Suits', yes everyone." there was a low murmer. 'The Suits' were made of a high tech fibre that was aquired through the raiding of a shipment that was suppossed to be carrying cash, lots of it, of course that was there too. "But I am going to need a strike team, we already have main team, we just need some backup, now before you all put your hands up and yell out ME ME! OH PICK ME!" at that everyone laughed. "I want you to know the chnace of dieing is almost garunteed." everyone was dead silent. "This mission is take down the destroyers once and for all."
"I will go." One burly striker said as he stepped forward.
"Thank you Jake."
"As will I." another striker said, and he was followed by 12 others.
"Good, 14 strikers along with 5 higherups, 19, a good amount. Now, everybody suit up, and the volunteers meet with me." Everybody suited up in thick white suits and they all loaded themselves up with guns.

"You 14 strikers are going to be going with Me, Tom, Erika and Juan and Jerome. this is the job: place explosives at key points in the structure, and blow it up, this will most likely take us all down as well."
"Then why are you going sir?"
"Because I must, if the Strikers fall apart after I die, so be it, but as long as I see the destroyers dead, I am a happy man. Now, we all go in, only 10 of us will be carrying the explosives, the other 9 will cover us. They will nto expect a direct attack on thier building, so they won't expect to be attacked. We specialized in closed warfare, so we will have an advantage, are we understood?"
"Yes."
"Good, lets move." Everyone left, John stayed behind and called Meg.
"Soon I know, but this is the biggest job you may ever get."

Green shrugged. "That's fine by me, so long as I can keep the same hours."

"All right. PALMER!"

Palmer stumbled to the front of the croud.

"Green, this is Palmer. He's in charge of the investigation, Palmer this is Lisa Green. Your new partner. Show her around."

Palmer's eyes went wide for a split second, then back to the ususal. This would complicate things.

"Sir, I'm really bus-"

"So am I. Show her around or show yourself to the unemployed line."

Palmer turned to Green. "Follow me."

((Just noticed., almost Palmer turned green......))

Green followed Palmer. "Sorry for intruding on your work," she said. She leaned closer. "So I'm here supposedly to get some cooperation going between State and Local police... how likely do you think that is?"

"This is what we've gotten on the case so far." Said Mike. He gestured at the desk. On it were pictures from around the building. Including some of John and Tom. There were, however no pictures of Meg. Mike had removed those after learning that she was apparently helping Donnie.

He looked at Green, guaging her reaction to the pictures. She looked familiar, but he couldn't quite place it.

Green nodded thoughtfully. "So these are the guys suspected of causing the explosions?" She shook her head. "I thought they were Green Slickers that did the job... that's what all the news is saying..."

"You think we're gonna give this to the press? Hell no!" Said Mike. He looked at Green closely. "And if it does leak, you're going to be the first one we look at. Besides, we don't know if they're responsible yet, but they were in the area."

"I'm not referring to what you might leak to the press," Green answered patiently. "I was merely saying that the news is already blaming the Slickers... you know, because of the result of the explosions."

"A very big job, we came up with a plan to take down the Destroyers, for good. Yeah, we come up with plans fast, but don't worry we got a backup, if we talk in person I can give ya the details."

"I'll not deny that," Green said with a smile. "So what direction's the investigation headed now."

'Meg' frowned. "I can't make it very quickly, but I'll get there as soon as I can." She cut the connection and ran back to the other 'Megs'. "We need Teri."

Up at the police station, Green excused herself to answer her cell phone. She walked outside and put the phone to her ear. "This better be important."

"John wants Meg," was the answer. "We need you back."

Green/Meg/Teri winced. "Now's not a good time. Come on now... we all know there's one of you that looks enough like her to pull it off."

"But she's not as good at the voice."

"Then coach her before sending her out. I can't come."

"Alright," came the answer. "We'll do it."

"Thank you," Green said. She cut the connection and went back inside.

"Sorry," she told Palmer. "Kids. They're the reason I only work part-time."

"Two," Green answered. "A boy and a girl. So what's up next for the investigation?"

Mike had planned to spend the rest of his day digging deeper for information about the mystery agent, but that was impossible now.

"Now we go question them." He said, getting up. He looked at Green and shook his head, but said nothing.

Green's eyes widened slightly. "That could get dangerous... are you sure that's what should happen next."

Putting on his coat, Mike turned to look at Green. "Stay here if you want." He said, and began heading out.

"No, I'll go with you," Green said, standing quickly. "Dunn never gave me anything interesting to do.

Mike drove directly to where the gang met. Driving in an unmarked car, he passed through without suspicion. He looked at Green, and her State Police uniform.

"Just....stay in the car."

He left the car and knocked on the door. He had spoken with John on several ocassions, and he knocked.

"I'm looking for John Dilan!" He said.

Green frowned, but did as she was told. She rolled down the window to see if she could hear what was said. "So much for something interesting... I sit in a car..."

While waiting for an answer, Mike's cell phone rang.

"Yeah?"

"Find any info on the FBI agent?" Asked Donnie.

Carefully Mike turned around and answered quietly.

"It's messed up. I dug in deeper, and there's no other credentials. It's just her name, rank, photograph. Everything else is classified, but I had someone hack in, it's empty. There's no info. Nothing, nada, zip. "

"Any connections."

"No, but I'm trying different things. Listen, Don, I know she offered to help, but don't trust her too much, man. Something about this stinks."

"I'll be careful. Talk to you later."

"All right. Bye."

They hung up, and Mike turned to the door and knocked again.

"C'mon now! I know he's in there!"
