"I should give you somthing strong to get rid of it then." Simon took out an injector (I don't know what there actual name is.) and plased a vile of pain killer in it. He walked up to Amanda and plased the injector against her neck and pulled the trigger. Once the chemical had entered her body he plased the injector on the table. "It shoudn't take long to take effect."

Jayne scoffed as he walked passed the infrimary door and then kept walking to the cockpit.
"Where to O captain my captain?"

"Well, for one thing, it looks like the alliance is still after us." He grinned slightly. "And I decided this planet wasn't that comfortable anways, the weather's too hot and humid."

When Jayne came in he answered. "We're meeting Alex." He grimaced "See if he still wants the job with the newly-acquired risks."

"Hot and humid, Mal?" Inara retorted. "It was winter there."

Meanwhile, in the infirmary, Amanda smiled. "It's already starting to work." She turned her head as River peered in.

"You're dirty," River commented suddenly. Amanda laughed and nodded.

"Yes," she answered. "And I suspect you would be too if you had just crashed two ships mentally."

She stood slowly, as if unsure if the doctor's medicine would knock her out or not.

"Captain's in the cockpit?" she asked. River nodded and Amanda headed in that direction.

Alex had his belongings packed and ready and was awaiting the Serenity's arrival. He'd been looking for some real work for a long time, and nothing sounded better than working with old pals.

Sitting on the floor with his back to the wall and his bags laying beside him, Alex waited by the star port listening to music through an antique disc reader.

Mal guided the ship to land at the docks where they'd agreed to meet Alex. Thankfully the docks were public, and didn't require ships to identify themselves. He landed carefully if a little roughly. He still hadn't mastered flying. He turned in time to see Amanda there.

"You all patched up?"

Amanda smiled. "More or less, yes." She glanced back. "Dr. Tam's got me on a painkiller because forcing those Alliance ships down really played with the nerves devoted to pain in my head."

((Ok I'm back...so that mean Kaylee's back *big dramatic entrance song* Ok so I've read what I've missed I'll just say I'm back in the engine room))

Kaylee exited the engine room wiped her face with a cloth and went inside the cockpit where all the others were.

- "Well now that we're landed and all maybe we can get a replacement for the reactor, I told you Captain that it would hold for three more days but that was a month ago" - Kaylee said to Mal.

Simon remained behind in the infirmary when there 'guest' left to meet with the captain. He glanced over at his sister "So River how are you feeling today."

"I'm fine," River said quietly. She glanced around, but still kept just outside the infirmary. There was a moment of silence before she spoke again. "How did she do it, Simon?"

"She moved you," River said, remembering their first encounter with Amanda. "And she got herself out of the handcuffs. You saw it. She held your mouth shut so you wouldn't make her sleep."

She nodded. "So maybe she did move them."

"I don't know, Telekinesis, It just seems far too science fiction, or somthing out of a comic book." The comment reminded him of what wash once said the day they met that bounty hunter(episode: objects in space.)and made him smile. "But then again so are the things you can do." He said smiling at his sister

"She's lucky shes genentically modified..." Jayne muttered.

Simon laugthed with his sister when Jayne turned up. "Sorry Jayne but i can't help you with a bruised ego after the way amandas treated you."

Alex saw the Serenity land, it looked almost exactly the way he remembered. Standing up he hoisted one bag over his shoulder and picked up the other. Moving up to where he expected the runway to descend he waited for Hal to emerge from the ship. The disc reader sat in his jacket pocket and it's headphone chord snaked up to his right ear where it met with a studio head set.

Kaylee went to the dinning room, the infirmary was right there also, she took something to eat and saw Simon there with Jayne and River. She only sat down on a chair and watched them talk.

"Haha, very funny." Jayne said sarcastically "I just wanted to get away from her, so as long as shes in one room, I'm in another...Can't let me trigger finger itch, I might shoot someone..." Jayne said with a smile.

Mal headed to the ramp and began walking out. He smiled as he saw Alex's disc reader.

"He's still listening to that." He commented to Zoe.

"At least he's got headphones this time. Remember the speakers?" They both smiled as they remembered when, during the war, someone had accidently turned them all the way up while they were off. They walked up to Alex.

"Alex, nice to see you again." Said Zoe, still smiling.

"What you been up to?" Asked Mal.

- "He'll get over it, a couple of drinks and he'll be good as new" - Kaylee said.

River said nothing and just sat there staring at Kaylee's hands as they worked with the battery.

Meanwhile, Amanda had followed Mal and Zoe, interested to know who the new pilot was. As Mal and Zoe approached Alex to welcome him, Amanda stayed a little ways back, picking up on the conversation more through telepathy than through her ears.

Alex slid the headphones off his head so that they dropped around his neck. "Hey Mal, Zoe," He said smiling. As he stepped onto the ramp his hand slipped into his jacket pocket and turned off the disk player. "I've been up to the same old stuff, scrounging for odd jobs and still hanging out with the underground punk crowd." Alex shook both his welcomer's hands, "So, how's about a tour of the ship? I imagine it's pretty much the same as always though."
