lolz, this still going

GL can make a nice spectacle, but he steps in horse$hit when it comes to philosophising - especially in the PT. The force was left magical and mystical in the OT, and indeed Joseph Campbell was a guiding light in the creation of the SW Mythos. But by the time of the PT, George has demystified the force to the extent he makes it boring. But, SW is his creation, so its his call

someone has to come up with this ****. lol. i just want to try and find an understanding of it all, even if it were from lucas himself, i would still try and find an illaboration he did NOT consider. granted, he considered a lot, enough for the Star Wars empire to be in effect. but no one really gets into it when its a subject?

this is what lucas wanted us to do:

I put the Force into the movie in order to try to awaken a certain kind of spirituality in young people more a belief in God than a belief in any particular religious system. I wanted to make it so that young people would begin to ask questions about the mystery. George Lucas

in me, he accomplished his goals because i am still asking questions.

The "questions" GL alludes to are about the mysteries of life and spirituality. The Force and the sith are archetypal(the pretentious like to call them Jungian) idioms, characterising good and evil.

In post Vietnam USA in 1977, who the "good guys" and "bad guys" were wasnt so clear to the average movie going teen. GLs space opera reinvented heroes that fit into this classical outline. It paid off for him in spectacular fashion = $$$

But all this is extremely obvious, but if it intrugues you, what the hey

I dont think he'll be that impressed...there are a zillion and one SW freaks out there who claim to know it all...Im one of them

The easiest way to work for any Lucas affiliate company is to
*go to film school
*be an artist, be it via traditional or digital mediums
*be well versed/qualified in new film, audio and video standards and applications
*wear flannel shirts
*marry his daughter

why do you think i am going to FullSail in the fall or next spring? i've been talking with the administrators of that school for over 3 years, i was good friends with atleast 1 and he knows my passion for seeing things come to life. kurt.

and, lucas is affiliated with a lot of the programs of that school. i dont know the artist off hand, but i did come across an old article talking about, lucas' ranch. if your good enough, and know what your talking about, like i'm trying to do, then you will probably get noticed.

i would even wear the traditional Sith robe while creating my trailer. just for the feel effect while i create The Dark Lords.

plus, i need to find atleast a good venture to get into so that a point is come across. i may be a learning star wars buff, but i think once i Mastered the ideas of both the Jedi and the Sith, then i can state a point missed.

dont you think it would be cool to see Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 on the big screen? i would definately look forward to seeing Darth Nihilus in his full force, along with many other key characters mentioned in the series. especially the Fall and Rising of Revan, and other key characters; Jedi and Sith.
