Milkshape 3D is shareware and can be downloaded from http://chumbalum.swissquake.ch but it's a low-polygon modeling application, so you won't be able to turn out models that look as good as the ones found on the XWA Upgrade Project. If you're looking for something that can do high-polygon models, ask on the XWA Upgrade Project's forums.
