Sam & Max webcomic
So what do you guys think of the webcomic?
(hint: I think it's pretty awesome, especially the more recent two pages, obviously)

It is awesome indeed. After such a sizeable lapse in new comic material, I probably would have been happy with anything Purcell threw out, but this here is quality stuff. And I agree that the mouseover effects are pretty neat. Makes me wonder how it could appear in a bound collection though.
I wonder how many pages will make up a "chapter," and how many chapters this thing will end up being?

Wwhenever I hold my mouse over it the stupid save picture, open my pictures, etc etc box shows up over the upper right hand corner of the image. It pisses me off. Other than that its great.

My name is supposed to be Barnyard Commando, but it's too long so the O got cut off.

Hm, I wonder if any familiar non-titular characters will pop up in the webcomics. Well, besides the rats of course.

I'm hoping for Flint Paper, personally.

I think Flint Paper has been in every incarnation. But everyone else seems like they were just there for plot value.

I don't remember Flint ever showing up in the cartoon show? I thought Sgt. Blip had shown up in the comics and the cartoon. I think he was slated to appear in LucasArts' Sam & Max 2 as well but I can't remember why I think that. Maybe Stemmle mentioned it at some point?

Flint Paper was confirmed to play a "major role" in Freelance Police, and he is in one the screenshots (one that is only in a magazine scan). I think Jake was referring to Sgt. Blip though.

Man that cartoon had bad timing. It ruined all the funny jokes. What was with the constant fade transistions? It's colored really nice and animated well, but the characters are all ****ed looking. Max's hands get tiny. Sam's head gets gross looking or too small.

Anyone else catch the Dark Side of the Moon joke, and they played some Pink Floyd rip-off music for a little while? It upset me.

I watched about five minutes into it... so no.
I really wish someone would carve up and episode guide so I can figure out how much Steve P. had nothing to do with this. (But I think he wrote a couple of scripts. No clue about any storyboarding or animation.)

So Max turns into some sexy warrior lady while Sam is asleep at the wheel? Who is Nigel the Hook? Did the drug slang "lit up" just happen?

I thought the warrior lady was the bug in his pocket, though I guess that's what the warrior lady was riding on? Thought max was the majestic steed.

I don't know, from the end of page 3 to page four it gets weird. I was kind of figuring there would be some kind of sinister plot with the roach.

I can only hope Sam & Max somehow manage to reintroduce the plague to the fair city of London? Also, 'numero six-o' is pretty alright by my standards.

Sam: Well, whaddaya know? -- It's a kindly earwig! Her inadvertent gnawing on my cerebral cortex must have jarred me from my torpor!
Max: No credit for a couple of fuzzy elbows to your windpipe?
Sam: Thank you little miss! Come live in my pocket and be my special, lucky vermin pal!
Max: I thought I was your lucky vermin pal!
Think that solves that mystery.
