hey all, I, maurox, masterdragoon and parhacida are making a CW weapon pack.

I've been mapping the dc-17 rocket launcher actually, but the thing looks so well made it might just be ported who modelled it? >_>

hey tesla, i got the models from maurox when he posted them non-Uvmapped
they are not ported so dont worry
besides, the models are from maurox. tesla can we put the DC-17 you UVmapped into the pack? you wil get credits fore the UV-map

hey all, great news, tesla is in the team and is making all the DC-17 combinations like: rifle, anti-armor, and sniper.
next to that whe are gana make a DC-15A saber, then its like you can punch with your weapon with your oud of ammo

So, is the DC-17 gonna take the place of the E-11? That's really all it is, a simple blaster rifle. The Sniper variant is obviously gonna be the Disruptor rifle, but what will the Anti Armor attachment take the place of? Thermal Detonators maybe? Would it be possible to model the gun, and have the thermal det that you throw be the shot?

well, whe have a complete other idea. we are thinking of making a small mod to have more weapon slots so you can have multimple rifles with the same shooting effect.

The A.A.A (Anti Armor Attachement) should be either for concussion rifle or (more likely) merr sohn, since if you made it to replace TD, you would be throwing whole rifle around...

I meant, couldn't you make it so that what you throw is the little fireball thing that the AAA shoots? Or does the model of the gun have to be what you're throwing? If so, making the multiple waepon mod would be fine.

Well, no not really.

The TD works just like any other weapon: It has a player view model (with animations), a world view model, and a projectile model... all accompanied by muzzle flash and shot effects that are simply empty. So yes, this could be turned into an anti-armour weapon.

So the projectile model would be the shot, but the world and player view models would be the gun, right?

Correct. Then you would alter the animation.cfg file to direct the thermal animations to the rifle animations.

We still would need to find coder if you guys want PLX to have separate hold and fire animations than rest of the weapons. (yes, im also working on firing animation with recoil) Alternative is i could try and make in-between hold for both rifle and plx, but i would still prefer this to be coded separately.

i have good news. we are making a Clone chaingun (Z-6 rotary blaster cannon)
we have UVW-mapped it and started on skinning. when we got it ready then kain must make new animations fore the gun. i hope this 1 packs oud well.

When you guys are done with modelling the weapons (meaning: I just need weighted models with tags in .glm format), send them over to me, they dont even need to be textured. I will need models to use them in dragon for proper hold and fire animations.

Z-6 chaingun prieview

hi all. i got good news, we made again progress on the weapons. this time we made the Z-6 clone chaingun.

here are some screenies:

if done the UVW-map so it wont take a longtime bevore we start skinning it

the Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon was a powerful blaster developed by Merr-Sonn Munitions and used during the Clone Wars in a limited capacity.

Working around a basic design flaw inherent in many typical blaster weapons, the Z-6 incorporated six barrels in a rapid rotation wrapped around a coolant-lined core. The galven circuitry used in the blaster means that the Z-6 has a slow cooling rate, allowing for a tremendous rate of fire (roughly 166 rounds per second).

Despite its impressive firepower, the weapon has several notable limitations, specifically the high rate of ammunition consumption, its weight and recoil. Efforts by Merr-Sonn to counteract these limitations have not been completly successful, and tend to make the weapon that much more difficult to use.

Do you know the Clone Pistol Model?

I only had the Clone Wars Cartoon as reference and I made the model exactly the way it was in the cartoons:

that minigun is really lowpoly man, i'd add much more things and make it less 'bulky'

well... tesla is working on them now. its in progress atm. its far from done and the progress is getting slow. i found a coder. he only needs some info to help us.
