What does this smilie mean?

I'm curious because I like this particular smilie and I've used it a couple of times. I think it's not quite as bad as

I remember using it once in the context of using a spoiler tag and I thought I was inferring a little "look if you dare" sentiment. I ask what

means though because I happened to notice today when I put my mouse cursor over and it popped up as pervert

Suffice it to say that I did not want my statement to come off as perverted or that my spoilers contained perverse content.

Err. What do you mean by "popped up as pervert"? And seriously, does this smilie looks to you like something 'perverse'? Firstly it's called :brow: and I also doubt anybody would put a post in a 'perverted' context just because of that smilie. Hm. Plus perversion itself is nothing negative, but that's another story..

If you mouseover the smilie... the word "pervert" appears in a popup

Doesn't matter what VBcode text you use to get it, some smilies have 'different' mouseover popup descriptions

really means pervert? I know I didn't. I guess it would depend on the context one used it in.

Really, this isn't a big deal. I just won't use this smilie (even though I like it better than

) but I just didn't think it was meant to connote perversion.

I thought he kind of looked like a little deviant when I uploaded him so I slapped the pervert on to there. It's only what I was thinking of when I uploaded the lil' guy. That's just a sampling of the macabre way my brain works, I guess. I've used him for plenty of things besides the perverse though.

I thought green was more of an empathetic reviving color, "earthly" (or envy/greed)
while red was.. "inflated libido" or stimulation, "stronger emotions"
