Good if you can pull it off, but I think the illusion of that being possable in the campaign is that all AI is set to ignore the vehicle. Now if you do this online its hard for you to stop chipmonk bobby from jacking your ride (I suggest setting FF=On so you can put the kid out of his misery and him cry like he just realized he himself is an accident. |

Space vehicles would be easy, just make them locked for non-hero units. That would pretty much solve it, or that they begin in space, flying in from the edge, as some sort of reinforcement.

A rancor would be kind of cool to see. A bit clunky maybe, but still fun to try to shoot/avoid. Now those arena beasts from EP2 would be fun to play as/against.

like celeb dm, but with the bigs who have rancors, wampas, gamoreans, aacalays and other uglies vs the smalls who have jawas, ewoks, geonosians, tuskans, wookies and other pests
or just a big match with big monsters

Sounds... chaotic. I usually prefer fighting against monsters, trying to avoid being mauled/trampled/gored/digested/all that good stuff. But the chance to cause random destruction as the monster is good fun as well.
Not being paranoid doesn't mean someone isn't trying to kill you... or does it?

Make monsters "mountable" vehicles, so you just choose your ride, go out into the arena, and go monster smash!!
And the brave guy can play "monster hunter" and try to fight that rancor with a pistol... |

LOL. derfinetly. me and a frine (gasp!) went back on the good ol' ps1 a few weeks back. how the hell did we think they were good graphics back then? tried going through the 2 player tournament as bobba fett and the rancor.. it still hurts....
