Umm I think you forgot to put strategy, adventure, flight sim, and sport in the poll....
Of the options I can choose from I'd have to say RPG.

War, which I would kinda consider being RTS. My favorite RTSs are EaW and the Command and Conquer series, especially Generals.

RPGs surpass all in story depth and time consumption 
My PC faves are NWN and KOTOR. PS/PS2 faves are the Final Fantasy series. I also like those "Hack n Slash RPGs" like the Dark Alliance and Champions of Norrath games on PS2.

War: Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers
Roleplaying: Guild Wars
Guild Wars is messin' up on me though. It's most likely my video card which I need to replace.

No Baldur's Gate title? C'mon, it beats NWN anyday! I like it even better than KotOR in terms of replayability and depth.
