I got lots of presents, but the best part was that my dad came over and had supper here tonight and we all spent some time together. It was great, almost like old times.

I got a bunch of stuff, but the best one has to be.......a trip to Disneyworld!!! Just my family (that's the bad thing) but it'll still be cool. Anyone been there?

It was nice and sunny here today
(as usual) but suprisingly wasn't hot at all! I couldn't play with any of my presents so I spent the day reading Red Storm Rising and playing Risk with Ma and Grandad.

I FINALLY saved up enough cash to buy a new computer and will do so Wednesday so I have some Computer N00bie questions:
Can I simply "transplant" my current HD and RAM to my new one(Don't worry, I'll have someone much smarter than I handling this) so I don't have to copy each induvudual thing from one to the other via 3x3.5 inch disk?

It's an Intel Celeron 600mhz with 10 gigs and 32mb RAM(I have 64mb on my old one so hopefully I can transplant) for about $400. Quite a step above my current P166 with a 3 gig HD. I'm sooooo happy

I like this thread. It's very happy.

I finally got a chair. I had a computer, a desk, but no chair that was specifically allocated to the computer desk. It was the happiest day in my life, with numerous exceptions. I also received other crap, but that's another story.

Merry Chistmas everybody!

I came out pretty well this year. I got some programs for my websites, and other computer stuff. Got gift cards to Blockbuster, Best Buy, and Borders too.
Not to mention some SW Legos and a lot of good Peanuts merchandise.

Legos are the only object in the world that surpasses the word l33t. Other than the Nute Gunray action figure that is currently standing on top of my monitor...

how dare you put down legos, they are the best toy ever invented. I'm thinking of brining out my legos. I bought a lego X-wing a little while back too.

*wrenching the thread back on-topic*

I got:
-new clothes (shirts & jeans)
-food(candy)
-apartment supplies (sowing kit, kitchen knives, etc)
-Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
-a new scanner for my comp

Unfortunately, I can't play Majora's Mask because I don't have the bloody expansion pack. I have to go back to Ottawa before the 3rd (when classes start), so if I can't find one soon I won't be able to play until summer

What I didn't get:
-Phantom Menace Ultimate Edition soundtrack
-New headphones (my old ones disintegrated on Friday)

"Humans do eat monkeys. In fact humans eat other humans. . . Y'know, as a species, we are really quite unpleasant."
