The model needs proportion adjustments and the face needs serious attention, when showing a character model, its best to do a viewport screenshot with wires visible (press f4).
Usually its best to model around the JA skeleton, its not a big deal, but you'll have to reposition the meshes properly before you can begin the rigging process.
