KOTOR III: The Stand of the Sith

Starring (so far):

Me, Tysyacha, as the Jedi Exile, Tysy Dvukh
ForceFightWMe12 as Canderous Ordo, the Mandalore
JasraLantil and Jae Onasi (I think) as Revan (why did I
delete my PM's? Dumb!)

KOTOR III: THE STAND OF THE SITH

A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far away...

Five years after the JEDI EXILE, Tysy Dvukh, defeated the
Sith Lord DARTH TRAYA at the heart of Malachor V, she still
searches for her former Master. REVAN, also once the Lord
of the Sith, has vanished from the face of the galaxy. With
her dying words, DARTH TRAYA revealed that Revan had
gone to the Unknown Regions beyond the Outer Rim of space.

That is where the Exile must now venture, with only the fierce
Mandalore, CANDEROUS ORDO, and the loyal utility droid T3-M4
by her side. Tysy Dvukh fears that once she reaches the heart
of the true Sith Empire, the Dark Side will turn her at last.
Will her dedication to the galaxy--and her hidden passion for
the Mandalore--preserve her and her allies, or will the Sith,
with a risen Dark Lord, claim victory once and for all?

******************

"I've abandoned all of them, Canderous."

Canderous Ordo, also known as the Mandalore, leader of all the
clans of his warrior race, swiveled his helmeted head to look at
the Exile. Tysy looked troubled, but much more so than usual.

"Just when I needed them most, what did I do? I left Atton Rand,
Mira, the Disciple, and Visas Marr at the Jedi Enclave. Why didn't
I take them with me? They could have helped us fight the Sith!
Instead, since those four were all Jedi, I left them on Dantooine
in the hope they'd be safe there." Tysy sighed and shook her head.

T3-M4, sitting in the pilot's seat that had once belonged to--not
merely been occupied by--Atton Rand, whistled and beeped warmly.

"I guess you're right, T3. After all, with no Masters at the Enclave,
who's going to teach the Padawans and Younglings who want to
join the Order? Darth Traya's extermination plan should never
have a chance to succeed again. Still...I needed their help.
I miss them." Tysy sat down in the co-pilot's seat and lay
her head in her hands. Being a Jedi had never been harder,
or more painful. Was this emptiness what the future held for her?

"Exile? Are you all right?" came the respirated voice of the Mandalore.

Tysy turned her body towards him. A surge of warmth filled her,
and her heart began to pound. Not with fear, but with long-hidden
feelings. Ever since that day aboard the Ravager, with Darth
Nihilus looming in the distance and the Mandalorian between them...

"I--" That was all Tysy could say before her breath caught in her throat.

((I'm Revan.))

Revan sat on a railing above the command center of a base located on rocky terrian of a moon. A moon without a planet. However the moon continued to orbit something, and noone could understand what happened to the planet. Had they're even been a planet? If yes, what happened it it? If no, what is this moon orbiting? The base contained mainly human scientists, droids and wookiees has gaurds. They were all here to find out about this moon, and the weird readings the radiars recived. Revan was also interested in this moon, however he was mainly interested in getting into the ruins that were not far from the base however Revan had never had the chance to get there, with the whole no air and gravity and a mysterious mild field around it.

((by the way, can i have controll of Zaalbar or Mission or both?))

Mandalore drew closer to her, his eyes locked on hers from beneath his mask. He placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, the metal sections of his armor sliding smoothly across eachother as he moved.
"It's alright." he said, "You're not doing this alone. T3's here, I'm here, and the others are on Dantooine if we need them. You're not an Exile. Not anymore."

Tysy smiled, and the warmth inside her increased. She felt a sense
of kinship with this warrior, this man who had fought his way through
more battles than she herself could count. Due to her order to activate
the Mass Shadow Generator twice upon Malachor V, she truly could not
decide which of them had the bigger body count--Mandalore or herself.

"I may not be an exile anymore," she began, choosing her words carefully,
"but I'm also not a Jedi anymore. Not technically. I've left behind the stiff
rules of the Council, and that includes the one forbidding any attachments.
I guess what I'm trying to say is--I've had feelings for you ever since that
day aboard the Ravager. I realize what you meant to me then, and
what you will mean to me now if you accept me. Do you...Canderous?
In this new way, when all we both have known so far is war and death?"

T3 beeped again, this time with what sounded oddly like a utility-droid
wolf whistle. Tysy also heard his tinny squeals that signified laughter.

"Oh, hush! You tell me you never fancied any female-programmed droids?"

"Www, www, www," said T3, the noises he made sounding like blaster fire.
Obviously, the plucky droid must have thought his "opposites" had cooties.

"Anyway," said the Exile, turning back to Canderous, "I need all the help--
and all the love--I can get. The galaxy's a cold place without either one."

Mandalore stood quietly, listening to the Exile's words and smiling to himself. It had been so long since he had been as close to anyone as he was to the woman before him. She understood him -- his duties as a Mandalore, the Mandalorian culture, he had revealed more of his history to her than he had told even Revan...hell, she even tolerated his brusque, hard personality.
His hand slid from her shoulder, tracing down her arm and taking her hand. He spun the chair around a bit, and pulled her to her feet.
"Tysy," Canderous said, and he reached up to a joint at the edge of the aromor on his neck, and flipped something. There was a hiss of releasing pressure, and he pulled the helm of Mandalore from his head so he could look her full in the eye. "You know I'm with you."

Tysy almost stepped back, as pleasantly startled as she was, but she did not.
This was the first time she had ever seen the Mandalore's face. Rugged and
handsome, it was, but without the traces of Sith techniques or hidden hatred
to mar its surface. Gently, almost fearing to, she reached up to stroke his hair.

"And I am with you, Canderous Ordo, until both of us become one with the
Force." She saw the Mandalore smile wryly. He had never thought much of
the Jedi, but at least he didn't look as irritated as Tysy thought he would.

"Speaking of Revan," she asked him once he had redonned his helmet and
locked it into place, "where do you supppose we could possibly find him?
You and I have been searching for five years straight. Traya said he was
in the Outer Rim, but she never said whereabout, or how we should attempt
to get there. You were with him once, traveling. Where do you think he is?"

Canderous shook his head, his brows furrowed.
"I've no idea." he said, "We've checked all the likely places...though...there could be one..."
The Mandalore had never actually heard Revan speak of the place, but from bits of information he had gathered on his travels, he pieced together a puzzle that, once solved, left him with one final guess.
"Ziost." he murmured, staring hard out the viewscreen. It was an ancient and dark world...but it was his guess as to how Revan and Malak had found the Star Forge, and where the former might be now.

The name of that Sith-imbued planet made a shiver run down the Exile's spine.
Tysy had heard of the place, but unfortunately, it scared her more than Malachor
V ever had. After all, Malachor V was only a horror spawned by the Mandalorian
Wars. It had not been a Force-forsaken world from the very start, whereas
Ziost...She wondered if Mandalore could feel her tension, her anxiety.

"If we're going to travel to Ziost," said Tysy slowly, "then I'd like the help
of our friends Mical, Visas, Mira, and Atton. If they're not available, then
this might be crazy, but I suggest going to Nar Shaddaa. A lot of shady
characters still live there, who might know more about the Sith and that
planet than they're letting on." She turned to Canderous. "What do you think?"

He nodded slowly. Even with the combined strength of the Mandalore and the Exile, Ziost would be too much.
"Yeah." Canderous answered, "We'll have to try. As much as I hate to admit it, we need help."

Tysy smiled. "One course for Dantooine, coming up. T3?"

The utility droid happily beeped and whirred into life, setting the hyperspace
coordinates for the rebuilt Jedi Enclave's home planet. The Exile was glad that
in a few hours, she and Canderous would see their old crewmates again. She
wondered how the Mandalore felt about "being dumped in a nest of Jedi" so
suddenly, as Atton Rand had once commented wittily back on Telos.

When the Ebon Hawk touched down upon the lush green surface of
Dantooine, the balmy air of early summer enveloped both Tysy and the
Mandalore in his heavy and completely protective suit of armor. The
Exile felt a sheen of sweat begin to form on her upper lip. The planet
was full of a light and heady suffusion, but almost too much so. Tysy
had learned that even the most joyous and inspiring of situations could
quickly turn to disillusionment at the fall of a hat. Or the Force.

She and Mandalore approached the rebuilt Enclave, draped in ivy and the
native flora of Dantooine. Their steps seemed to echo on its cobblestone
brick pathways, sounding conspicuous and heavy. Presumptuous, like they
were the steps of the kind of intruders Master Atris had once been wary of.

"Atton!" Tysy called, jubilant. "Mira! Visas! Come out here. It's me, Tysy
Dvukh, the Exile, and the Mandalore, name of Canderous. We've come back!"

No one answered except the breeze. Which was odd, considering that the
Masters often meditated outside with their pupils in good weather like this.
Sensing something amiss, the Exile and Mandalore wandered into the interior
of the courts, where something like an electric seizure caught Tysy in its grasp.

"Aagh! It's the echoes of Darth Traya!" she cried. "She killed Master Vrook,
and Kavar, and Master Zez-Kai Ell! I have to get back from here, or else I'll die!"

Rushing to her aid, the Mandalore shoved Tysy back with all of his strength
toward the courtyard wall. Landing with an unceremonious, soft thud,
the Exile rubbed her eyes and saw four large depressions along the ground.
Depressions full of gray ash, and strange Force currents surrounding them.
Overloaded, saturated with pressure, tense and tingling, on the brink of explosion.

"Sith spit," the usually stoic Mandalorian muttered softly. "They're gone.
They have to be dead...all four of them. Nothing else could have happened."

Tysy crawled on all fours toward the ashes, gritting her teeth against the
stinging pain. Her eyes watered with fresh tears, for she knew it was true.

Canderous felt a pang in his heart as he saw Tysy's tears. He surprised himself with the feeling, but it was so deep, it seemed to echo through his very soul. He moved over to her, and put his arms around her, pulling her to his chest.
"Tysy..." he murmured, his voice strange coming from the mechanical transponder in his sealed helm. He was never good with words.

The Exile threw her arms around Canderous and let him hold her. She
wept, her body wracked with deep, heaving sobs. When she found she
could speak again, she choked, "Who did this? The Sith? Darth Traya
is dead, and so are Nihilus and Sion. Their--remnants--would have
turned on each other without a Master. So who could have?"

As her head reeled and her temples throbbed, the Exile clenched her
hands into fists. "I know I was once called a Jedi by Darth Traya, but
I am a Jedi no longer. How can I follow their code of peace and
emotional detachment when--this--happened, Canderous? I don't
want to be peaceful. I don't want to be emotionless, like a droid
or a war machine. I want vengeance, and for the killer to pay!"

She cringed to hear herself say it. This was not the Jedi way, but then
again, was she ever really a true Jedi? She longed to hit something, to
punch it, but the only thing she could find was the rock-steady Canderous.
Not wanting to attack him, she simply let sorrow and exhaustion overtake
her. "Are you still with me now, after I've betrayed the code I once followed?"

"I once told Revan," he said, pulling away slightly so that he could look her in the eye. His metal-encased hand moved up to the side of her head, his thumb moving across her skin, "That Light and Dark makes no difference to me - a person's a person, their beliefs don't matter. That goes double for you. I'm with you. Whether Jedi or Sith, I'm at your side."

Tysy leaned in close to the Mandalore, her face still soaking wet with
tears. They were beginning to become sticky on her cheeks, and she
welcomed Canderous' support. She placed her hand on top of his
metal gauntlet. "Thank you," she whispered, almost pulling in close
for a kiss, but not daring to. Not in this place of grief and horror.

Suddenly she had a quick thought. "If anyone else is still alive
in this Enclave, we need to find them. Mical, Visas, Atton and
Mira might have had students that they were training, and if
they're here, we might be able to ask for their help on Ziost."

Noticing the Mandalore's surprised look, Tysyacha glanced
at him with a determined stare. "We need all the help we
can get if we're going there. They may not be as well-
trained as we are, but they might be of some aid to us."

She and the Mandalore turned to search the other parts of the
Enclave, including the infamous Sublevel, for any survivors.

((P.S. Anyone want to join in as an Enclave survivor? ))

Ziost was still and quiet as the night grew darker on the ancient Sith planet. Even through the dark side filled forest there was no noise - just quiet. Revan looked upon the ancient Sith fortresses, crumbling buildings that once contained the horde of Sith that had fled there from Korriban.

It was this planet that had drawn to Revan, for the planet was a haven of the dark side. It was a only year after Revan had defeated Malak when he came back here, to these places of dark power. He stretched out through the force, touching the edges of the evil auras that surrounded these buildings.

But elsewhere, he could feel another presence. There were still Jedi alive, and foremost among them, he could almost feel the Exile.

"I thought they had rebuilt this." Canderous growled as dust motes circled around the light that snuck through cracks in the ceiling. "Either a bomb went off down here--" he heard the shifting of stone and a cracking noise. His eyes rising shooting up for a moment, he quickly grabbed the Exile. His arm sliding around her waist, he quite literally lifted her off the ground, swinging her to the side as the stone above where she had stood only moments before gave way. "Or the Jedi are lazier than I thought."

Jack laied alone on the cold, hard metal surface of the enclave libary. He drifted in and out of consciousness. And while he was waking he kept attempt to heal his bleeding leg, however he wasn't able to find the power.

He started to begin to hear voices in the beg round, he heard people moving in his direction. He only hoped they were jedi or republicans.

As Tysy and Mandalore continued their search, they came upon the Enclave
library. It did not seem to have suffered any damage, although someone
within it definitely had. A male, from the looks of him, lay sprawled on
the library floor with a bleeding leg. Tysy quickly used her Master Heal
Force power upon the young man, making his wounds regenerate.

She knelt down beside him and felt for a pulse. "My name is Tysy," she
said firmly but not too loudly. "Are you all right? I am a Jedi, and this
is my friend, Canderous. Do not be afraid. He is a Mandalorian, but he
is on my side. And yours," she added quickly, turning to the Mandalore.

"I am know, thanks to you." Said Jack as he struggled to sit up "I'm Jack, I'm a Jedi trainee. I was excepted into the enclave a month ago. Are we still in the enclave?" Asked Jack.

Jack was not fully aware of his surrondings, all he could make out is there were two people, offering their help.

happened here? I fear that the Sith may have attacked again, after all this time."

"I can't remenber much, all I do remenber is that I was in the libary researching some useless stuff when I heard an explosion. I headed for the door but before I reached it slid open. A rather large droid, non like I'd ever seen came in here and opened fire on me. It wouldn't surprise me if the sith attacked, they couldn't of just died after the Civil War."

"It doesn't seem the Sith style," Mandalore murmured, "To send droids? I don't think so."

Aerl stooped and picked up a control module from the pile of rubble in what used to be a corridor in the damaged Jedi Enclave. He shook his head in what could either be disappointment or disgust. “Stupid droid. Can always count on them to...”

Suddenly, he heard voices coming from up ahead, and, frowning, he turned his head in the direction of the library. He slowly moved forward, picking his way through the rubble until he spotted the source of the voices through the open door in the library. Three people—a woman, a young man, and a Mandalorian.

"It doesn't seem the Sith style," Mandalore murmured, "To send droids? I don't think so."

Aerl looked at the droid module he held in his hand, and raised an eyebrow. Quietly, he laid it down and shoved it underneath a fallen support beam, hiding it from plain view. Then, with a ready hand on his holstered blaster, he cautiously approached the three.

“Erm…hullo?” he said tentatively as he made his appearance in the doorway of the library.

Mandalore wheeled on the voice, is Mandalorian Assault Rifle lowered, training almost instantaneously to the man's chest. His first impulse was to pull the trigger, but the Exile had always taught him patience...
"Who the hell are you?"

Jack vision got better enough to make out the man who's stood in the door way.
"Who the hell are you?" asked Canderous
"Dunno, I don't reckonise him from the enclave." Jack said.

Aerl slowly raised his free hand in a non-threatening manner as he slowed his approach. "Erm...me? I'm nobody, really. Just... erm... having a look around." He smiled, trying to appear friendly. "You know, seeing if anyone needs help." He eyed the Mandalorian's weapon, then deciding that since he hadn't fired it yet he was fairly safe, he slowly raised his other hand and extended it outward in a gesture of friendship. "Name's Aerl Diesa--trader, explorer, and general jack-of-all-trades. And you are...?"

The Mandalorian switched the safety off on the rifle.
"Just keep your hands where I can see them, and we'll have no problems."

"Alright, alright," said Aerl, stopping in his tracks and raising both hands once again. "I was just trying to be friendly. No need for you to get all tetchy about it." He eyed the Mandalorian, who was obviously in charge, then his gaze fell to the young man, and finally, the woman, although his eyes lingered on her a bit and he smiled at her before returning his gaze to the Mandalorian. "No harm done, right?"

"Eyes on me, bastard." Canderous growled, following 'Aerl's' eyes as they traveled over the Exile, "You're real close to getting a blast bolt between the eyes, you know that, kid?"

Aerl raised his eyebrows and shrugged, giving the Mandalorian a look that said 'no harm, no foul.' "So...you got a name, soldier?" Aerl asked. "Or are you the type that prefers to remain anonymous?"

"You can call me Mandalore." Canderous barked, "Call me anything else and you'll get a rifle butt up your ass so fast--"

The Exile raised a hand to halt the potential confrontation for a bit. "Yes,"
she said quickly. "He's the leader of all of the clans of his race now, so be
careful. You don't want to cross either of us. My name is Tysy Dvukh, and
I'm--a rogue student of the Force, if you will. I'm nowhere near a Sith, but
I'm not a Jedi, either. Not anymore, at least." She smiled and shrugged at
Aerl, hoping Canderous wouldn't get too trigger-happy with his blaster.

Aerl smiled at Tysy in return, then, feeling a bit more secure, lowered his hands to just above waist height. “Right. Got it,” he replied to her while keeping a shrewd eye on Mandalore. “Nice to meet you, Tysy Dvukh. And, erm, who’s your young friend?” he asked, giving Jack an inquisitive look. “Another rogue non-Jedi student, or just another nosy explorer like myself?”
