Most ominous puzzle

I’m a newbie if this topic has already been brought up, but what puzzle in Grim Fandango did people find the most ominous when first “seeing”?

For me it was the safe in the third year. After walking inside and expecting to find Meche, I only saw a suit of armor, a big axe, and a wall of file cabinets that I could not open. My first thought was “wait...I’ve heard this riddle before...I think.......”

For me it was the bit in the Petrified Forest. You know, with the wheelbarrow. Before GF, the only adventure games I had played were children's adventures in which every puzzle was along the lines of "take this item to characer A, he'll give you another item you have to take to B etc." so the idea of a puzzle that didn't involve the inventory was all new to me.

Aww, I was such a newbie.
