Poo!

Why did I call this thread poo? Because... um... I don't know. But, anyway, today is my birthday and I thought I'd go all self centred and start a thread about it. I got some brilliant new toys. Here is my list of what I did get.

The Star Wars Trilogy (The 2004 DVD shiny embossed sexy one)
13 12 year old mint Judge Dredd comics Dredd FTW.
Lots of shiny silver art pencils
Thud by Terry Pratchett
Project Dogwaffle Pro *gives McCoy the Vs*
Kerrang! Remastered disc copy, it's Master Of Puppies by loads of brilliant bands.. including Fightstar *shudder* (that actually wasn't a birthday present, my friend gave it to me to copy because he doesn't have a computer... I thought I'd add it to the list as a little boast. So there.)

My brother woke me up today with "Happy birthday" and I was like "piss off it's not my birthday"... never thought I'd forget my onw birthday... What did you all get me?

1. You are too spoiled
2. WTF is "Project Dogwaffle Pro"? And what are these "Vs" you're giving me? Do I want to know that anyway?
3. I got you a bloody mary...out of my nose!

Interesting, how you post your birthday **** and the Harbour turns *silent*, eh?

Birthday present? For you? Haha. You're a funny little dirtbag. No, really. I mean it. Seriously. Take my advice!

I have the gimp! It's ok but not for digital art. It's more of a photomanipulation thing... I prefer dogwaffle because I am more of a paintereyish person.. or something. The pro version rocks. It came with about 40 video tutorials which looked really unproffesional. The sound and picture quality was terrible, they were all obviously done with various versions of dogwaffle and at different times (one is 98, one XP..). Oh, and they all say "Unregistered Hypercam" at the top. Still useful, though. The manual is pretty big and looks really proffesional and glossy, the vid tutorials do it no justice.

MUAHAHAHAH!

Oh, and happy birthday. I've sent you a fruit basket, I'd have just simply sent you fruit, but then I'd look insane apparently. I did it ONE time!

How come the fruit basket has ketchup in it? And no, I didn't get "Wheres my cow", alot of this stuff was from eBay.... I'm suprised to see that there are no marks or anything on the book though. Or anything, actually. The cheap bastard must have kept the cow book... is that a short story or what?

I got you a date.... Hahaha, just kidding, I mean I tried all the legitimate dating sites, but no luck, so I ended up just signing you up for a bunch of free porn via e-mail, that ought to keep you just as entertained.

Just because people think what I say don't make sense, doesn't mean I don't like popsicles.

I said if I was lucky. I'm not lucky, though.

I kinda am, cause Rushmore was on last night, and I've been wanting to see that for a while.

Oh yeah... so basically, it's
"Where's my cow?
Is that my cow?
That goes "Baa!"
That is a sheep.
That is not my cow."
all the way through?
THUD is so much funnier and better than his other books... it's great.

Sort of. I'm guessing you've read the bit where he starts saying something along the lines of "Realising young Sam would probably never see a cow in his life, except for on a plate, he once decided to change the story to incorporate the city..." and then started the story Where's my daddy and so on.

Halfway through the actual Where's my Cow book it actually does take that turn and the end result is Young Sam find his Daddy.

Interesting... Not exactly in line with the book, though. Unless it's a recount of Sam reading Sam Sam's book. Which it obviously isn't. And yeah, I got that far. Erm.. as you probably already gathered. It seems alot funnier than some of the last books I'm at the barricade part, but I really do miss the old furniture barricade of Night Watch. I completely lost my page a while ago as I dropped the book laughing at the "... 'And also Vinny "No Ears" Ludd and Harry "Can't Remember His Nickname" Jones, I see' ..." I know, it wasn't that funny, but still...

Edit: Ave, HAPPY ANIVER...EEVERS..AIVERS..ERI..SAS..LAS..SERRY!

I got you a repulsive beautiful avatar that you can use! For ever! Without changing it every day! j/k happy anniversersarimpery

Yes, it is a lot funnier, the climax to the book... you'll either be greatly dissapointed or you're laugh your arse off.

Where would you get a scorpion?

Fealiks, no he doesn't die, but unless you can laugh at the ending, you'll just feel like it fizzled out into nothing (or was too silly).
