Well, I do use some of my left hand... mostly for the shift, and just now I hit the "a" and the "s" keys with it.
But 99% of the keys I hit are with the middle finger of my right hand.
Which is the main reason why I have never signed up to an instant messaging service. Waiting for my replies would be painful, and without spell check and my own relentless editing, reading them would make you embarrassed for me.

Yeah, probably not... but I don't think that will be an issue anyway though. I have no urge to get involved with any game with a monthly fee. Too much pressure to always be playing the damn thing.
Or I could take a typing class or get some training software.
But that probably ain't gonna happen either. I get by with my hunt-and-peck method good enough for what I do.
Hmmm... this is about the closest I've been involved to a "real-time" thread around here for a long time.

I hate being bored all the time.

eh, galaxies is different for everybody, some people like it, some hate it. the ones that hate it are mainly the ones that played it before SOE performed combat upgrades to it, so that's where most of the bad reviews come from. I played before the 1st combat upgrade through NGE, pre-NGE had more stuff to do and more professions to choose from, different experience points were required to get different skills (use rifles to get rifle man xp, build camps to get survival xp) now the experience points is just based on combat and questing. It's still cool in the fact you can join the Empire, drive swoops and speeders, go into space in various tie fighters as well as upgrade your ship and put parts on it, and have your own house/s in the game.

Uh, sure.
I don't have one yet. I'll have to do a LOT more cleaning around my office before I get one too...
But yeah, let's give it a try to see if we can figure out how we just might make lessons work.

today's been good so far....
woke up at around 10, called my mom and talked for about an hour, then decided to go walk/run 2 miles before going to work at 12...that took 50 minutes, finished by stretching so i don't get a charlie horse later, then changed into work clothing and headed off to work, got there 5 minutes late, swiped my badge, and 'REJECTED TOO EARLY' my dept mgr was there so i was like 'hey am i early??' and she said i was supposed to be in at 5pm, so we double-checked the schedule and sure enough...so now i'm back home, my dad's prolly gonna come over later so we can call the tax collector and get the tax bill (the one that sayeth i owe $100 to some school district...like wtf i didn't get one of these last year!) hopefully we can get that fixed so i don't owe them anything at all1! if i do owe them $100 i'll just pay it and be done w/it. not like i'll get the tax bill next year.
rest of todays plan is:
eat lunch (sloppy joe/baked beans)
play galaxies for 30-60 minutes
work out 30-60 minutes
call about tax bill (5-30 minutes)
clean apartment (30 minutes)
get ready for work
work (4 hours)
watch a few episodes of 24 season one/play galaxies
go to bed
edit:
I called the tax collector...had a nice conversation with her. (unlike last time where i called everything she said 'bull ****'...that's what happens when i get on the phone in the morning ) the tax is a 'Per Capita' tax that is supposedly given to everybody that is over the age of 18 within a school district. That's pretty lame that my sister did not receive one of these. So yeah, i'm buying her lunch at mcdonalds with that $5.25 penalty. Apparantly that's why I don't see any thing like 'berlin twp' tax thing on my paystubs. oh well. guess i'll be paying that next week..along with my rent and cable bill. o well least i'll have enough left over for gas til the next paycheck...which i'll be spending on car insurance and a new pair of glasses.

I just took over the XWA Seti@Home team. About 4 months ago, I accidentally clicked something that questioned the leader's activity... Since he didn't respond in those 4 months, it automaticlly transferred ownership to me.
Wheeee!

I'm scared now. The thought of you in charge of anything...
Who is still in the team these days anyhow? Just me, you, and Mr. Jones, right?
I do have a few additional comps crunchin' for me these days though... not just my single geriatric main PC. Got a few machines at work too.
Well, got my car inspected. (Passed.) Got a nice winter coat (not crazy about the colors... but it has enough pockets to suit me and should be pretty warm (it's a Columbia.) A couple of nice fleece pull-overs that were on super-clearance sale as well.
Had lunch at Olive Garden ("...but he left his wallet at the grocery store!")

Gotta do one more overnight, then i have the weekend off. which will be nice.
That and the manager's outing is sunday, which equates to free food.

Life is a bitter pill sometimes...
Well, we still have about a week left in the month, and we are already approaching the 200-post mark. Cool. If this trend continues we will totally kick the ass of the "Redux" thread. We'll break... uhhh... let's see, carry the one... um, 2400 posts for the year, maybe, I think? Well... That would rawk!
So,.. KEEP IT UP BOYS!
And to help you "keep it up": Double doses of Viagra and Cialis for all! Except for you, Ray... you've already had quite enough! Put the goddamn bowl down, man! Those things aren't M&Ms!
Remember fellas: If you have an erection that lasts more than 4 hours, call a doctor. Or a phone sex line. And a prostitute, the Guinness Book people, and all your buddies to brag.
On second thought... if we go that route, you'll all be too busy with... other activities... to post. So ignore all that, and just keep posting.

Work was easy yesterday. Everything went well. A good way to start the year.
Going decaf again today. Haven't slept well the last couple of nights, and could use extra rest.
Still have a ton of chores to get through. We'll see how far I get. Place yer' bets now...
I might also head out at some point today with the sole intention of buying some CDs or something. I've been kind of bored with my music lately. I hate paying full price for CDs, though... but my favorite used CD place around here went out of business a while ago... which probably has a lot to do with the fact that I haven't really bought any music in a while.

Watched the "Unforgiven" and "Strange Brew" DVDs I picked up last week, back-to-back. Both still great.
Ordered a pizza and a salad.
Didn't watch the playoff game... just wasn't in the mood. I guess they (the Patriots, that is...) lost. Oh well. Haven't been following them all that much this year. So I guess I don't feel all that bad about missing the game, then.
Should get to bed. Back to work in the morning, and I've got to get the trash out early.
Shouldn't have any problem getting back to sleep, though... without stimulants I'm pretty useless.

Well, I had a good birthday.
My parents got me a mini digital video recorder, it can record up to 30 minutes, and it has a USB connection right on it, so it's pretty cool. Chilled out at their place for most of the day, watching tv. Then my dad and I went to go check on my sister's car after she got out of work, the check engine light is coming on again....not cool, so we headed back to parents' house and watched the rest of the chicago and new orleans game then went back home. My sister got me Star Fox Command and 'The Ringer' dvd. SFC is tough. I don't remember star fox on super nintendo being that hard, it's nice that there's a strategic element to the game though.
I'm thinking of walking or running another 2 miler tomorrow morning, but if it's raining I'll probably cancel that.
I think I made a healthy food move the other day by buying a 24 pack of water instead of two 2 liters of soda, and pretzels instead of chips?

Viagra has changed my life. Before Viagra I was a slave to frequent, meaningless, fast and random sex, with women I didn't even knew before. But now, with Viagra, I am able to touch pure freedom. Recently, I could even manage to have no erection for almost 2 hours. Thanks, Viagra!

Quite the endorsement, there Ray. The first thing that I can think of that you and Bob Dole could possibly have in common.

Most likely... but you are going to go ahead and do it anyway, aren't you?
You could just give hints and we could all try to guess. That way you aren't actually guilty of telling us outright. The winner can get a prize.
