Well, I'm not getting any negative vibes from the Force about this, so cool.
I think it'll be great, as long as it is concentrated and significant.

Yes, we don't want another rushed product that had lots of potential, TSL (I do like the game more than KOTOR by the way). Take your time Lucas and in that time, I hope you can tell us about a possible KOTOR III.

I just can't help but get the feeling that this will be like Blade the Series (shudders). I'm not sure what it is but I'm not getting a good feeling about this series.
Make love, not toast.

Sure I hope you're wrong. I don't want the first SW tv series (first of many, I hope) to be ruined.

I think it'll be good. I also enjoyed the few parts of the clone wars cartoon that I watched, so here's to hoping that it all turns out good.

At least there's Force Unleashed and CW and maybe KotOR III to keep us busy until then...

Lol, exactly what I was thinking.
I just have a problem with the whole concept. If you ask me it should be like Firefly. Because I don't want this to be completely serious, I want there a to be humor factor to this tv show, and not stupid humor like Jar-Jar.

The Clone Wars series should kick ass. I hope the other TV show doesn't ruin the legacy of Star Wars, but who knows, maybe it will be awesome.

As long has he doesnt make a Battlestar Galactica gritty sci-fi take out of it them im fine with it. BSG is good enough but i don't want to see some Twi'lek getting done by a Rodian and then the next 3 episodes are about abortion. I want jetpacks, lasers and pirates.

I think there was something about the cast on Wikipedia and some comments about the TV series.
:Edit: Here it is
Also, it is said that the TV series will revolve around Boba Fett, and some other characters during the Dark Times.

I'd love to see some Quinlan Vos action, I just hope the actor doesn't suck...

Well, I actually agree with you there. There's lots of Lucas-bashing going on, but he IS Star Wars, and even if the recent movie trilogy hasn't been all top-notch (like a certain gungan already mentioned...), I really don't see who else would do Star Wars better.
So it's not that I'm trying to badmouth the show or anything. It could be great. But I've invariably learned that it's best to expect the worst in these cases. That way, you're more often pleasantly surprised than horribly disappointed, so I'm trying to cut my expectations of this show down to zero and just wait and see what we get.
I hear it's going to be all new characters, which is fine. I'm still hoping Vader will turn up now and then, though. After the prequel trilogy, we need to see the armored Vader show people who's boss - that was the only thing I missed a bit in RotS. Not Vader as a major bad guy that needs to be killed - that would be pointless, since you cannot let him die - but just death incarnate on the show, whenever he turns up. That could be a bit cool if done right, I think.
