my intro to kotor 3

CHAR CREATION
kotor 3 has all the same faces as kotor2 casue u r playing the exile. after u have chosen ur face u get to choose ur allignment sith or jedi after this u choose ur class respective of ur allignment u get 2 choose ur class wich is ither sith lord or one of the other prestige classes or a jedi master or one of there prestige classes u also start of witht he force no having to gain it as u r the exil and have mastered it allready.
STARTING ITEMS
u start of with a light saber with the choice of ither red, green, yellow or blue u also start of with ither sith lord(dark jedi master) or jedi master robes and a utility belt the npcs such as Atton n the rest start of with there normal clothes but they only use them in the intro(u ill find out y later)

LIGHTSIDE INTRO (u have chosen to be on the light side)
*star wars recap thingy*
after the star wars recap the screen swoops down 2 malachor V and the defet of darth traya and u getting rescued by the ebon hawk and its crew (ur friends) then u fly back 2 telos were carth onasis is waiting for u(if ur female u have allready seen him so u get some kinda hi again line) u tell him wat happened at malachor V and he then asks u to join the republic army and help him find reven u of course accept then carth askes u to take him 2 the ebon hawk were t3-m4 unlocks the navagation comp and u get a ruff heading of were reven is after this u fly into a repubic battleships hanger were u r greated by a republic general carth then tells the general that u r incharge now and to do as u say the general then leads u carth and atton to the bridge were attont hen takes his place as the pilot(atton flys the ebon hawk y cant he fly a replublic warship) then u jump into hyperspace to go find reven.

DARK SIDE INTRO (again u chose this)
*star wars recap thingy*
again after the recap the screen swoops down 2 malachor V with the dark side ending but before u throw darth traya into the planet core ua sk her how she got here and she tells u of her sith war ship that was following u around in kotor 2 after she has told u thish in contunie in throwing her into the planet core then u radio atton demanding that they come pick u up imediaetly before the planet dies(yes i know the ebon hawk gets destroyed but in my intro i survives) after this u continue to fly to the sith war ship were half u u ask hk-47 to interigate t3 till he agrees to unlock the hav computer but before hk starts carth onasis walks out of the cargo hold and demands that u stop and that he can convince t3 to unlock it for u after this u reach the sith warship an fly into its hanger were u r confronted by a sith general and some sith soldiersthe general imediatly tells 2 soldiers to take carth to the holding cells were u agree u then tell the general that u have killed darth traya and u r now in charge of the ship the general just nods and takes u and attont eh the bridge were atton takes up the pilots chair and u jump to hyper space with the cordinats that u retreave from the ebon hawk.

EXTRAS
u still use the ebon hawk to land on planets becasue it would be to hard to land ing a war ship of any kind it also keeps the ebon hawk in the game
the ebon hawk gets completly repaired once u reach the first planat of the game after malachor V it also gains a new paint job respective of ur allignment so if ur on the dark side it will have the same colors of a sith war ship as with the light side it will have a republic colors
it will aslo have a co pilot and 2 guard npc there will be one guard at the exit ramp and a nother one that patrols the ship(atton is still the main pilot)
all of ur previous party member gain sith or republic uniforms again depending on ur allignment and they all have there own places on ur warship respective of allignment.
the warships ither republic or sith will be full accesable and have there own crew(u will not be able to comand them they r just there 2 look good) u will gain a nice big room with everything u need pritty much anythink a jedi or sith wants is gona be in there.

anythink else u want 2 add to my intro and extras go ahead n leave a post
or just tell me wat u think of mine i dont mind

I haven't been here long myself, but welcome!

I personally don't want to play as Revan or the exile in K3, So that kind of rules out your whole idea, but if it were the case that the Exile is the PC, it's certainly not a bad place to start, although you would need new faces and customization at the creation stage.

I personally don't like the idea. Games that are direct followups rarely work. On the other hand, this story would work better as an expansion pack than as a sequel. I'd personally prefer something that happens years later with only subtle nods to the events of Kotor 1 and 2.

Sounds good if one hasn't played KOTOR2 before, although having such a high class so early on (especially if they've never played before and aren't familiar with the controls) seems a little unfair.

How 'bout the ability to import your KOTOR2 char?
I thought the Ebon Hawk was FUBAR once you've landed on Malachor?
...Atton & Bao Dur were AWOL regardless of alignment; only Baodur's droid and G0T0 survived on the 'bots; no Mandalore, Visas, or Handmaiden. Just Mira/Hanharr for humanoid chars survived besides Exile.

Since I don't want to play as Revan or the Exile in KotOR III, then this idea is completely ruled out for me. I certainly wouldn't want to start out as the uber-powerful Force god I was at the end of TSL. I guess if by some chance, the devs decided to make you play as the Exile then this would be a pretty good start.

As Alkonium said, I would much prefer a story that starts many years after TSL.

No, because starting as the Exile or Revan has no appeal to me. Learning new story and making new characters is where it's at. I'd prefer to start out 10+ years later with the True Sith lurking on the horizon, Revan + Exile's fate unknown and your PC being a new Padawan in some sort of force user order.

No, I wouldn't like, as Adamqd and Eager Weasel stated, playing as Revan or the Exile in K3.

And as someone else said, that seems more a expansion pack story than one of a new game.

Since the Xbox version of TSL has no net access, that's pretty much out of the question...

Azzakabaz, I'm sorry, but the way you type is just too annoying for me to read that. This isn't AIM. It's not in real time. You have time to type words out properly, use punctuation, etc. Too many "u"s and "ur"s just distract me when I read it, plus never knowing when one sentence ends and another begins.

I am not trying to sound like a grammar [solicitor] here, I'm just trying to point out that when you present something like this, it should be... well, presentable.

Welcome to the forums nonetheless.

It's a bad idea to me. I agree with Zerimar Nyliram that it is difficult to read, and from what I read, playing as the Exile, a LS and a DS Intro, won't do it for me which is why a new main character is simpler. Sure, there might be solutions where you can play as the Exile but this isn't one of them IMO.

Oh well, 12 votes vs 2 sounds like you have some work to do to improve it.

Closed the poll--the polls that ask 'do you like my idea, yes or no' are redundant--if people like/dislike the idea, they'll say so in the thread. Polls are best used for things that ask for people to decide between multiple choices, e. g. 'which Kotor character do you like best: Bastila, Carth, Jolee, Canderous, etc.'

However, please feel free to continue the discussion.

Sorry about punctuation but i was at school when i did this so i was kinda rushing so my teacher didn't see what i was doing. I am also going to write a new story with a diferant intro becasue none of u like this and u will be differant person from Reven and the exile

No offence man (you’re a guy aren’t ya)?

But ah, you don’t want to know what I think of the intro to your KotOR III plot.

I have some tips (guidelines) for you that you could use in your next story that would help improve it; if you can follow them. Of course, whether you follow them or not is up to you, but I recommend them, because umm…they’re my guidelines lol.

-To have Revan and the Exile appear in the flesh in KotOR III as non-playable characters (or temporarily playable characters at the latter stages of the game).

-To give Revan and the Exile important roles and have their fates revealed dramatically enough in KotOR III.

-Have most, or the entire story in KotOR III focus on the K3 PC.

-Make the player feel as if the K3 PC is irreplaceable and your actions in the game prove to be important.

-Allow the player to select the genders, alignments and if necessary, the appearances of Revan and the Exile.

-Instead of bringing closure to the whole True Sith fiasco via a conversation or two or whatever, we actually get to see what happens, fight the True Sith, and learn about who they are and so on.

-Don’t bring in too many new characters, when we’ve got plenty of characters such as Bastila, Carth, Atton, Visas, Mandalore, HK-47, T3-M4, Bao-Dur, Jolee, Mission, Zaalbar, Mira, the Handmaiden and the Disciple (who most should, and some could) play significant roles in KotOR III.

-To have KotOR III be set no more than 5 years after TSL.

-To have enough quests/side-quests to keep things interesting from a role-playing perspective, keep, but enhance the influence system and have anywhere between 6-12 party members, some optional, some forced.
The one I’ve highlighted isn’t a necessity though.

And

If characters like that don’t appear, then we can decide what happened to them, so our role-playing choices are still respected. For example, with Juhani, you can assume that:

a) She died on Katarr.

b) She died by other means sometime after KotOR before the beginning of KotOR III (example: she could have been killed by Sion).

c) She is still in hiding. Bad example I know.

d) She’s one of the people who “switched off their lightsabers” after the Jedi Civil War and is off somewhere doing her own thing or whatever (like living on Cathar).

e) She’s gone on some self-imposed exile to truly redeem herself in her eyes, if she still felt she hadn’t.

f) She’s dead, because you killed her in KotOR.

g) Other.

This can only be done if characters like that do not appear at all in KotOR III.
Note that you could have like Jolee, Mission and Zaalbar in your KotOR III story (only if Revan is set as LS) because we know that the only possible way to kill them in KotOR is to go DS.

I like the idea as playing a familiar character, but there should be more faces, for variety, maybe fully customizable faces. And the Exile and everyone else shouldn't have their exp. from the prev. game. Say when the Exile gets off Malachor V as it explodes, he/she falls into a coma. Then the gang takes the Exile back to Citadel Station or Dantooine to recover and debrief with Carth and the rest of the Republic. The Exile wakes months maybe a year or two later and discovers that he/she has almost completely lost his/her sensitivity to the force because maybe somehow after destroying Kreia and Malachor V caused the wound in the force to heal and the exhausted body of the Exile was finally released of the burden. So after meeting back up with Carth and the gang, Exile breaks the news about the condition. And in return Carth states that in the Exile's coma, news had come around of Revan being spotted somewhere at the edge of Republic space. You decide to chase Revan, and Carth comes along too as NPC(just watches the ship and reports to the Republic base for info., also giving you advice, and possibly coming to the rescue in the ship for pickup.), but Exile decides before finding Revan, must regain his/her affinity to the force and decides to seek out Master Vandar who is in hiding from when the Sith destroyed Dantooine and train once again to be a Jedi. Some planets that could be visited I think would be Cathar or the Miraluka planet. They're both dead planets, but maybe Revan came across them tracking down the Sith. Oh, and you should neutral still just because and you shouldn't have any items from the last game because the game shouldn't be an expansion pak type game like Champions of Norrath(although a great game.) Say in the crash on Malachor V, you're entire stash is lost to the planets wasteland and your clothes are fried so after you wake from the coma, Carth gives you a Republic uniform so that you're not naked. Everyone else either has their previous gear or something new since you were in a coma so they probably did some shopping.

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow, a mystery. Today is a gift...that is why it is called the present.
