new and improved sonic blaster

well here is the human version of the sonic blaster. hope everyone likes it.
is the butt of the gun to predictable for a rifle?

well let me know your thoughts about it...

poly count is 736... to much?

Nice. That should be good...im pretty positive(99.99%) sure that the max poly count is 1000. Found that out the hard way >.<.

Thanks darth... I guess i'll move on to something else.

sorry this took so long, the over all modeling time was only about 45 minutes... it's just a matter of sitting down that long to do it! lol!!!

I'm not sure who does the textures around here, but I think it's ready.

This gun looks nice. Some cool texture on it and it's fine.
I'd give this gun a slow fire rate, like 1 shot per second, but unblockable for lightsabers (dodgeable though), and rather low damage, less than any blaster for sure (like 50 or so), but a very fast projectile speed, a bit more than the blaster shots (blaster = 4000, right? maybe 5000 for that one).

Yeah agreed...speaking of which, where is our documentation now? I can't find it in my enhanced folder and only a very old version at the repository.

Level of Detail models. IE, lower detail models used for rendering objects at a distance to reduce the CPU/GPU load.

I'm surprised you've never heard of them with your background.

Yeah it's like mipmaps for models, just make that thing a bit blockier with less polygons at a distance so it doesn't have to load the whole high quality model even when you can't see it in someone's hands

sorry never seen it abbreviated before. all my old art director used to say was, "make me a low poly model of that" (while pointing at the screen).

Any thoughts on who will texture it? if someone makes the textures I can map it... i'm just not good enough at textures, I'm to Impatient!

By the way razor what is the max size for a texture in JKA? 512?
