when Manny's boss got sprouted, victor says something like "somhow i was expecting tulips....maybe manny eh?"

why do different people get different flowers? lola get some blue ones, is that cause she was nice?

And as for the flowers, The florist asked manny what kind of flower sproutella ammo he wanted (think it was baby breath/tears). Perhaps it goes like; Ya pay a little more and get whatever ya want, or you buy the echonomical solution and get a Misc. can

The flower issue was discussed in this thread in the past, and there are many interesting points made there. I think that it comes down to the kind of sproutella that is being used because Salvador and Olivia were sprouted with the same sproutella and got the same flowers. Therefore, it can't have anything to do with how nice someone is.

Maybe Hector didn't know how sproutella works, and thought the flowers were random? Or maybe Bowlsley had made him several different kinds with no name tags, and all he knew was that some of the darts would make tulips.

The possibilities are endless if we start to stretch.

perhaps Hector was using echonomy sproutella which is a misc from can to can

Most likely they just put it there because it's a good line. It's not the only piece of dialogue in the game that doesn't make sense in the context.
