blaster bolts

Hi, I don't know a whole lot about RC modding, but I was just wondering if it is possible to edit the size of the blaster bolts. That's something that has always bothered me, the pathetic looking tiny blaster bolts coming out of the DC17.

Also, as a side question, how do you change rate of fire and the damage output of weapons in RC?

I'm not sure if this works, but it looks the same as the Deus Ex: Invisible War damage hack, which also uses the Unreal engine.
Open user.ini in the gamedata/system folder and scroll down to where it says:

And change the DamageModifier values. It might change the damage output of your weapons, but it might change the amount of damage you take, or both.
