I'm not really sure, there are probably a couple possibilities. One could be a duel system such as the one in the RotS game. The other option would be a co-op mode, though I don't know how that would work since theres only one secret apprentice.

Maybe co-op, that would be cool. It's ridiculous, story-wise, so it might be an unlockable bonus mode or something.

I'm thinking for PvP, probably a duel system.

But maybe there's some sort of co-op survival mode where you face tons of enemies, a-la Geonosis Academy in Clone Wars.

God is a placebo with nasty side effects.

I'm interested to hear what others think about this. At this point I think it will be only a type of dueling system like I mentioned a while ago. IIRC LA mentioned something about "unleashing the force on your friends" or something like that so that leads me to believe that will be the multiplayer part. Any other ideas?

Yeah, I know. It just seems like the most likely thing, if they're even going to have a multiplayer.

I'm hoping it'll be co-op, that PVP will be a nice bonus, but I think the co-op aspect will be more fun, but in the trailers it says he has like party members or something and I saw this one girl with a green saber using the force on some stormies.... I think it was a girl anyway.

Thumbs down

PSP exclusive? That sucks, but its better than having it just on the consoles. I hate consoles, personally, and I would rather use a PSP then use them, im mostly a PC gamer, I HOPE THEY PUT IT ON PC GRRRR

Well the Wii also has confirmed multiplayer. They haven't said anything about the other versions so I don't know if they will have it or not.

Well I know the PSP's version of multiplayer is exclusive. The Wii version's is a duel mode between two players, different from the PSP's.

I wrote this http://www.forceunleashed.net/news/t...-in-spring-08/
But I wouldn't post faulty info.

well that not official , and the Dev have clairy specified that the "duel mode" is PSP exclusive , ive read everything " official " about SWFU and never heard about a Wii MP mode . That some Fantactic wishs , nothing official.

So its fair to say that your information is faulty.

I don't care about the multiplayer. But maybe something like a wave of stormtroopers vs. a group of Jedi?

Why are you so convinced that all these sites are lying to you about this? Why would I go to this extent to make you believe the Wii version has multiplayer if it wasn't true.

Helpful!
I think that it will be a sort of co-op. The Secret Apprentice has an 'party' consisting of Proxy, Juno Eclipse, and himself as far as I know...

I feel like it maybe just like the Jedi Knight Multiplayer, or it maybe they will incorporate some sort of co-op gameplay. Either way it should be good.

Please be the same as Academy

I don't know about any of you other posters, but I hope so badly that its like the Jedi Academy multiplayer. Good old deathmatch or team deathmatch. Of course the gameplay would be tweaked, and the mechanics of the multiplayer would have to be changed. But they need to have it that way. Me and my buddy pumped like 100's of hours into the Academy multiplayer, fighting back to back lightsaber against rediculously hard enemies. It was tons of fun. I want that experience again, I hate fighting against my friends, and would rather work with them to slay hundreds or thousands of respawns jedi. None of that Clone Wars crap either, where hundreds of normal enemies rush you, thats fun for a time, but its nothing like running around a multiplayer map and getting the drop on an unsuspecting enemy.

The only thing they would have to change for the setup is the ability to play with two humans against 14 AI. In Academy you had to play Free for All to have a worthy Challenge, and then the guys fought each other and sometimes ignored me and my friend.

I hope they bring back this style. Split screen preferable, as well as Online, so the unending tide of Jedi can be thrown back yet again.

If anyone knows a better place to post something like this where Lucasarts can hear this, tell me. I am desperate for another multiplayer experience like I got from Academy.

Also, X-Wing. Bring back that series, it was a rocking space flight simulator. Now they make those games for dumb people, Rogue Squadron, come on. Sorry I know that was off topic, but there it is.

edit : Also, maybe a couple blaster users for multiplayer, not really interested in it, but it adds a little zest to the combat. Your in the middle of a battle with a sith, and then a couple blaster lovers walk around the corner guns a blazing, you have to dodge his blade and their shots. Exciting stuff.

Meh, I really wouldn't like a deathmatch mode. Too messy. Unless we're talking about a "survival", at where two player face underwhelming odds against incommensurable enemies.

Survival. We used the deathmatch mode to do a survival mode. Both me and my friend fighting off all the bots. Back against the wall. It was a sweet game mode. But i don't want it changed much from deathmatch, because that way you can have unlimited amounts of time to play in it. We would turn the time limit off and just play for hours, killing off 100's of Jedi, good times.

I would like to see some sort of a deathmatch or team deathmatch, as long as the environment can be used as a weapon. Maybe Capture the Flag?

I feel the co-op mode would be better, like in the Halo series. ANd who says both people have to be force users? THe second player could be , say, a stormtrooper commando or something along those lines.

It would be cool, but no one except Darth Vader knows about the apprentice, thats why he's always killing the stormtroopers et al, so they'd never team up with him.

Too bad it's been confirmed that there's no multiplayer whatsoever for the PS3 and 360 versions of the game; and no, you won't ever be accompanied in levels by PROXY or Juno, it's only you and an army of stormies to wipe out.

My source: an FAQ on the official site's forum. Answers most questions we've ever had about the game.
