I couldn't believe it, worked sucked more today.

Two people called in, another only worked a half day. they updated our Inventory system which prevented us from receiving in any product, 2 1/2 hours later they reverted back to the old system, and we had 5 truck loads that needed to be received/put away. Was able to get in more overtime again. (woo!)

I certainly HOPE tomorrow is better

Work wasn't bad... huge chaotic setup that fills every available inch of the stage... but somehow we made it work because we are awesome.

Getting home will be fun: Walked to the station from home today (about 3 1/2 miles...) to avoid the opening day insanity.

But getting home will be trickier... unless I feel like walking that distance in the dark. (I've done it before... but I don't know if I feel up to it tonight...)

So: If I miss the bus (which runs once an hour) my options are to pay for a cab ride (not likely...) or risk waking someone up to pick me up and give me a ride.

I have to think about who owes me favors... Hmmm...

my hair grew out so i put some hair gel in it to spike it up. might go bowling and or to the range tomorrow. I need to get the lead out. haha

think im coming down with a URI.....upper respiratory infection....one of my coworkers has been hacking her head off and well, i'm notorious for being the one to catch a cough. blahhhhhhhhghghg.

it's too damn nice out. tomorrow is suposed to be very nice.

SWG FTW. i'm having alot of fun with the high level quests. the imperial theme park revamp is so coooooooooooooooool!!!!!!!11111111111111

Show's over. Survived it. One stupid glitch (though I don't believe it was our fault...)

this is rather interesting

If you remembered I mentioned this girl at work
http://www.lucasforums.com/showpost....&postcount=570

Here's the scoop

2 weeks ago, she and her boyfriend/co-worker broke up. He called in sick for 4 days and then started working 2nd shift, and even started later to avoid her. Monday she went home early because she was sick. Tuesday she called in sick. Today she showed up and I said to her "You still look like crap"

An hour later I find out she was fired.

The basics of what i think happened is when she was told to talk to the owner (who she has had problems with before) is she gave her a piece of her mind, or went off.

Going to get her number from another co-worker (not former BF) and call her, maybe have dinner and let her tell me her side of the story. who knows what might happen later, but at least I won't have to worry about fallout at work anymore.

This is red 5 I am going in!

work was boring. theres a cute girl that works at subway that i kinda like, but not sure how old...she doesn't look older than 20 but i am bad at guessing people's ages so she could be 18, i did happen to catch her name though. most days regarding this i hate my life because anyone i take interest is already in a relationship, has kids, falls off the face of the earth before i get a chance to know them, or ends up being a conflict of interest. im ****ing sick of this ****ing loneliness. i'm ****ing tired of every time i make any moves regarding a relationship i get killed off before i even get the chance. and at work well there's that company policy bull**** that i have to abide by so one person is out of the picture, unless she is crazy about me. but then again she said she wished i was her brother.

i think i'll just resort to utilizing my darker side and get people that piss me off fired at work. that sounds like fun. start friendships with people and then stab em in the back! there's one guy who EVERYBODY hated so i figured 'what the hell' and tried to be his friend and talk with him, etc...but then he ended up pissing me off cause he was gonna report my friend to ethics for something bad that my friend isn't involved in at all...and another overly-religious woman who pissed me off as well (turned off the radio when i was listening to it on my break) just cuase it was on a rock station. and besides she pisses off everyone in her and my department anyway. i wrote a statement on the guy and turned it in.

now, when i want some time alone by myself my mom has to decide to be on the computer next to me til ****ing 3am, like wtfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff****. i'm so tempted to outbid everybody on her ebay stuff. it would be ****ing hilarious. i shold make a fake name and email and make it look like im bidding on something and not pay and see what she does and then be all rude on the email it would be so funny!!!!! ok sometimes i can be mean...

i got a good deal at blockbuster tonight....4 dvds for $20. i got 28 weeks later, pathfinder, saw 2, and hot fuzz.

god it's 4am time to sleep. maybe i'll set alarm for 8am or something.

Dull, slow day at work... looks to be the last for a while.

Did a lot of walking today, at least 4 hours worth (probably more than 12 miles)... but it also looks to be the last for a while as well.
Got my first blister of the year, too. Nice...

Taking tomorrow off. Long days Sat and Sun, and all of next week.

Yippee!

I think I'll sleep now.

woke up around 11....blah day...played swg a bit, went out bowling with my mom. i bowled a 151 on the first game, and a 130 on the second.

went grocery shopping, came home and played more swg...watched hot fuzz. I forgot how hilarious that movie is.

i'm in swg right now...having fun with the 'War Terminal' which lets me see bases that alarms have been acted, and my profession is bounty hunter and it so happens that vulnerable bases first terminal to get sliced NEEDS a bounty hunter to do it. so i jammed 2 base's...pretty fun!

i wanna do something tomorrow but it'll be raining so that suckssssssssssssssss. maybe i'll go for a drive or more bowling. i dunno. i kinda wish i had to go to work...

Looks to me like your bowling is improving, R15. Imagine what you could do if you actually tried to learn the game.

Speaking of learning the game, I had a coaching session myself yesterday. I blogged about it, of course...

day was weird for me. kind of. woke up at 11am...starting to become a habit, staying up til 330.....o well like people say i need to get a girlfriend. well until that happens i'll do whatever i want, time is nothing.

anyway i woke up, played some SWG...took my mom to the doctors office to get her prescription, then went and dropped her off at curves and then i went to go to the bank to pay my car payment. the *******s wouldn't take my bank's atm/debit/credit card. dumb ****s!!111111111 anyways i deicded to go up to walmart to chill and get some cash out so i could pay it cash tomorrow before i go in to work. then i go and pick my mom up and go back to walmart to do stupid shopping. met a new employee cashier she is cool but eh just learned through myspace that shes 17. dammit.

o well. i gotta ****ing work most my shift alone tomorrow. that's going to be ****ing fun. maybe i'll just quit and get a life. dropping off the face of the earth sounds like fun. i doubt anybody outside my immediate family would even notice or care.

i had too much caffeine...i drank 2 of those amps and a frappacino. im not even tired. i gotta work til 11...and close by myself and by myself again tomorrow and probably the next day. as well as get everyone's ****ing maintenance done at the same time.

i love my job.

I had to work (and wanted to) today. The goal was to move almost 900,000 pounds of bulk butter from the freezers, pull samples, and put it into tempering.

First we wanted to show up the certified jerk that did only 500,000 pounds, with more help. Second we had motivation that if we finished the task we didn't have to work tomorrow.

My supervisor (who I am good friends with) went into the freezers and started pulling the loads out, while two others ran it out on to the dock. one guy figured out the churn sheets to create the sample instructions and I puleld out the samples.

Now... pulling samples is a bit of a game that I have gotten very good at. You have a pallet of 40 cases, each cased weighing in at 69 pounds, and frozen solid. They are stacked a certain pattern and you have to get one specific case out of that pallet based on a random number generated by the USDA. There are 16 pallets per load, and usually need 3 to 4 samples out of each load. All I need to do is know the box number of one case, and I know where all the others are.

"On the bottom front middle" for cases 2, 42, 82, etc.

"Corner" for 1, 3, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20

In the middle for 5, 15, 25 etc

My nickname at work is "Rusty" (my real name is Russell) or affectionately "The butter weasel"

We started at 7:30 am, by 11am all loads were pulled, by 12:30 all were sampled. When I left at 2pm all but 2 loads (90,000 pounds) were put away.

in short we kicked some MAJOR ass, and the owners, supervisors and workers were quite happy.

put in about 10 hours of overtime this week, that is going to show up on my paycheck for next week, which means about an extra $150. Going to get a set of used golf clubs and go get a massage

.... K, I actually have NO IDEA what you do? USDA? Butter? I'm almost thinking you work in some sort of butter factory for the pr0n industry.

I did not get the supervisor position at Best Buy. But they said "Apply for the Senior Position... and well, we'll count the SUpervisor Panel interview as yoru senior interview to save time."

.... I'll probably be promoted next week.

I get to do sound for Chuck Berry tomorrow night. Should be... interesting...

I work at a privately owned refrigerated warehouse, our main customer is Land O'Lakes, and one of their Dairy plants here in Madison. About 75% of our Business is dealing with mercantile butter. In fact about 50% of the butter you see at Wal-mart, and 90% of the butter used by McDonalds goes through our warehouse.

Uhhh... I haven't had time to play the games I already do own for a couple of weeks now.
That isn't about to change until the end of May, now.

Besides: my ancient relic of a PC wouldn't handle it... and every time I seem to get the bucks together to replace it, SOMETHING urgent comes up to take that money from my grasp again.

Both the new PC and HD TVs are on hold... again. Until I get some work done on my car; new glasses; finish the work on my cellar; and replace some plumbing fixtures here that are failing at an astounding rate.

Oh... and I will have to replace a pretty big chunk of my wardrobe before too long as well.
I lost a lot of weight in the last year (and I hope to lose even more this summer...) Which is a good thing... but all my clothes are swimming on me at the moment. All my pants are about 3 or 4 sizes too big at the moment.

I'm going to have to buy a lot of replacements some day very soon... and that **** ain't cheap.

As for the Clone Wars: I saw the last one the first time on DVD. I imagine it will be the same for this one.

I almost never turn on the TV anymore. The headlines and weather when I first get up in the morning... and that's almost about it these days.

I really should cancel my cable. I might some day...

how much ram do you have? you need at LEAST 1 gigabyte to avoid the long loading.

im running it fine on my sister's dell...i just had to fork in about $200 to get it running decent. the ram is the largest issue though.

the computer specs i'm running right now...

256mb pci card, 2 gigs of DDR1 ram, cpu is 2.8 ghz, psu is 600 watts

edit: oh your mobo fried......yeah mine did too i think! lol that's why i upgraded sisters, she's not gonna want it anytime soon...til i get another built. lol

Long day. Survived it.

Chuck Berry's glory days are definitely behind him... sad to say.

The other band I mixed tonight were a bunch of All-Stars from other famous bands: The Allmans; Bad Co.; Rolling Stones; Chili Peppers...

They were good... but LOUD.

Long day...

work went ok today....or yesterday....i got a bunch of monthly maintenance crap done, stuff that the people whose job it is this month tend to neglect...well, at least one of the people anyways. but i got that done. good stuff. clocked out, came home and played SWG for a little bit, got ventrillo set up, just need to find my damn headset for it.

decided at around 3 to put in 28 weeks later, cause well i was bored and figured WTF i work at 1pm-9pm tomorrow, figured i should just stay up as late as i can, see how it affect my work performance tomorrow. my parents are away visiting w/my great aunt and uncle...my one great uncle is in the hospital cause he had an infected foot and has a bad heart, well they were gonna amputate it but there was a complication and he had to be put on something or other, anyways they took him off the feeding tube cause he didn't like it, the docs said he would've only had about 4 months left anyway. i'm not really affected by it, i don't even really know the guy. just sucks tho i guess. *shrug* i can be so insensitive sometimes... it kind of sucks that i don't have any people i can invite over to party w/since my parents are outta the house for another day...instead i'm stuck here by myself. yaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

my assistant manager is expecting the arrival of our market manager tomorrow, so i had to double my efforts at getting **** done before i left tonight...i think i broke the ****in silver recovery unit in the process...i kind of overfilled it with waste from 4 separate tanks...and it made this awful beeeeeeeeeeeeep so i shut the alarm off. hope i got everything done...i don't want to get my "commanders" in trouble. lol

i talked to the one girl who i said is 17, well could be wrong cause she had a smoke on her break...anyways she has a boyfriend so that's that.

well, now i am tired so time for a nap. i'll go into work all like crazy tomorrow.

sucks that tuesday and wednesday i have mid-shifts. the 11-7 crap. o yeah and i don't see any hours past 35 a week on the schedules, so that's almost $100 off a paycheck. -_- i should buy stock in walmart that way i can tell myself that my hours getting cut will help it grow. or something.

i'm glad i'm kind of past that aggravation that i had before i moved in here. i don't gotta worry about the ****in rent or utilities...at least not too much.

I really should cancel my cable. I might some day...

they are making a LIVWE ACTION clone wars series......100 episode story, lucas says he will buy a TV station to play it on if no one buys the series.........

but season 3 of the cartoon comes out first...

Yea... build a computer.. sure. I would have to learn how... I cannot even figure out how to get a second hard-drive working on a comp. ANd I cannot even figure out why I cannot access www.xwaupgrade.com I get a time out error, and unless my firewall is down I cannot even get a Trace Report. My firewall thinks it is a phishing website, I disabled that "feature" and still cannot get access to XWAU

Lastly the comp I have now is a 1.1 GHZ celeron, with a maximum 512m RAM

K_Kinnison, am I to understand you can't even get the XWA Upgrade Project's homepage? I know they recently converted the forums to phpBB3, but if you can't even get the homepage, it's probably not the new forums that are causing the problem.

the whole website, fourm, admin tools, the whole domain, does nothing but "time out" for me. I have already talked to Forceflow about it, and we narrowed it down to either my provider, or my firewall. I really hate to talk to my provider, since too often i will be contacted by "Bob" who I cannot understand a word because if his thick indian accent

ah...try dell.com? tho it's kinda hard to pick there, really cause anything you put in for games is gonna run over $600 for some reason. i can't really say it's easier to build one, i know the parts i just haven't successfully loaded an OS onto a hd.....yet. soon that day will come. lol

so i burnt up my remaining hours...i guess i'll discover why it's vital to have 8 hours of sleep a night instead of 4 or 5. i shouldn't even need that many, i hardly do any physical labor at work.

just finished watching 'pursuit of happiness' it was a good movie i guess. a bit long though. i kind of want to put in another movie and just say forget sleeping altogether and see if i can pull off working....maybe i'll do that tonight.....

lipton tea is good!!!!!!!!!

joined Regal Imperial Defenders on Starsider in galaxies. very awesome guild, quite a few active members. maybe now it will feel more like a mmorpg than a coop star wars game.

oh yeah, i got xfire up and running so if anyone wants to chat w/me there my name is Kioet.

Dragged myself through work yesterday. I was wiped out. (Less than 4 hours sleep tends to do that to me...)

Got home a bit earlier than I had expected, and pretty much went right to bed. Slept right through the night. Awesome. I'd probably still be in bed if it weren't for the dentist appointment I have this morning.

Tonight will be late though. No getting out of that.

rode my bike to work this morning.. balmy 39 degree,s but i figured the 60 degrees on the ride home would be worth it. But the 20 knot winds did not make it easy on the return trip.

Also, I might have some good news later

Long day. Long night. Lots of blah and weird glitches.

A lot of troubleshooting tomorrow.

Headin' home. I need sleep.
