Any Grim-Fandango logo ?
Hi, i'm searching for a GF logo to design a tattoo. Any ideas ?
Best results with High-Def.
Thanks all

We've been talking about what type of tattoo people would want (or at least ZaXeriaw) and where here http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=181678, but as for a specific logo which I could imagine would make tattooing it on someone's body easier, i've been looking around.
So far i've been browsing the DOD ( http://www.grim-fandango.com/index.php ) for material,
The billboard/thingy on the front of the DOD building might be a good "logo"
There are also the logos for sproutella and the LucasArts Skeleton
On the DOD site Diney was able to do the latter in a larger formate, so maybe their work might be easier to work off of.
Also CiceroX's work would be a wonderful tattoo, even if it is not neccessarly a logo.
http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=176872
Finally there is always the game title in its GF font.
If you need bigger pictures of the stuff above that's in game, I would be more than happy to make big screenshots for you and post them here.

The d.o.d front, such a great idea ! Should have thought of that before! Thanks a lot Du Man. Do you know where I can find a flat pic of this ?

Coincidentally, I was considering a GF tattoo to add to my growing collection, and now I've seen the Sproutella logo I'm def getting it on my left wrist, it'll match with the 'Home taping is killing music' logo on my right wrist (for those too young to know what that is, it's a tape with a crossbones underneath, looks like a tape-shaped skull). Think they'd really work together, thanks to tutumanny for starting this thread and to Du Man for the idea!

sadly no, I think that would require having the original render files, and I doubt they would keep those things lying around the GF files of the CD. I'd be curous though if you could some how reverse enginer that design with another render program, maybe "read the image," but if it was based on a drawing it might just lose more information. Or if you are really desperate, you could cut the design down the center, and reflect the other half and make a symetrical design, though a little distorted. I'm pretty sure photoshop could let you do that.
Now that you guys encouraged me, here are some more ideas (from the DOD again).
The DOD logo with those vehicles in the background might do.
A really good design would be of one of those reapers on the back wall. I'll try to get a better screenshot latter.
Not many people will get it, but the bony girl might be a fitting design for a tattoo
Just a wordy logo, might not quite do for a tattoo. Who wants a mug slogan on their body?
Another wordy logo, but I like the glowing color scheme
As a note to myself to get a better screenshot, take a closer look at the blue casket's door, there might be some cool designs there.

This ?
It's just the logo from DOD. I just flatted it out, and I can tell you that it wasn't easy, because the image wasn't amazeingly good quality :P
What'd **** !?!?

Yes, the one in the lower left corner was the one I was looking for! If I would get a GF tattoo (don't know if I will ) then it's definately that one.

Yep I've decided I'm definitely getting the Sproutela design done after my birthday (when hopefully I'll have plenty of money!) I shall get round to finding a decent tattoo parlour to get it done (my usual place was bombed last month and is now rubble, worryingly). When I do I'm considering posting up the progress on here step by step, starting with a picture of the design before I get it done, followed by a picture of it soon after, and ending with the finished article.
Again, big thanks to all for encouraging me to get off my arse and actually get a GF done instead of just talking about it!

And get big floppy ears tattooed to the sides of your head so that everyone will know what a jackass you are.
...after, you know, leaving the refergerator door open at the tattoo parlour...because they all have refergerators.....and I bet you compulsively leave open refergerator doors........

Posting your problem in any random thread won't help either.
