The Ultimate R2-D2
R2-D2 Projector At CES

This toy, is really not a toy. It’s every geek’s wet dream that’s what it is! It’s an R2-D2 that moves by remote control and features a DVD projector, iPod docking station, speakers and more connectors and options behind little R2’s flaps and panels than you could hope to modify yourself.

If it weren’t for the $2700.00 price tag, I might just have bought one just because it’s way to damn cool. I do wonder though, how many they will actually sell at that price.

The thousand dollar price tag is probably because this is quite limited. Plus it looks so cool I would actually buy one for 2700 Dollars. If I had that much lying around that is

I think it's cool that you can actually use it for things you would actually want to do.

Sounds reasonable to me, actually.
Now if only I didn't have to convince the girlfriend to let me get this, it'd be set.

That is quite ballin but I got nowhere to put it and no moneys to purchase said object. If I did have both I'd buy that beast in a heartbeat.

The iPod docking station in that model will probably be life-threatening...

I've heard about this.
If I was loaded I'd definitely buy one.

I actually had the pleasure of seeing this in action at CES. Unfortunately it was so close to the wall that the screen size was only about the size of a 15 inch tv.
However it did looks very f***ing cool.
