Posting links of porn, soft or otherwise, is a flagrant violation of the TOS. Lucasforums is a PG-13 site and you can't post links of this type. This is not my normal stomping grounds so I'm not issuing a ban for this, but this is the only warning you'll receive. --Jae Onasi

Then how come the current flash animation on the right side shows an ad for adultfriendfinder with a woman with her titties out? Is that okay because it brings in money?

Yes. Yes it is.
Jae Onasi is just being ridiculous, there was obviously nothing wrong about those links.

Yes, and with the title "Find a SEX mate!"
Doesn't get more direct than that.

Man, that's dodgy. We don't normally get ads like that, and specifically indicated not to receive them with the advertisers. I'll quote you to the guys who sort the ads out.

Whilst we're on the subject, I've seen a few "Hot pin-up girls" adverts where you design a woman... it's really weird ( http://www.ugo.com/lifestyle/heromachine-pinup/) -- and very degrading to women!

Heh make sure you don't have spyware. Spybot Search and Destroy is free and good; AVG is decent. Download the free editionn, kill the trojans.

I already have AVG running and I'm not in the habit of downloading unknown crap. Why would spyware replace ads anyway..?

Well, there's nothing here. The only thing I've gotten for several years with the anti-whatever programs are false positives like Daemon Tools' hidden driver.

Spyware replaces ads to collect the ad revenue. You replace ad code that pays the site owner with ad code for an account that pays you. Some ISPs even do this, although they usually insert extra ads, rather than replacing existing ones.
Remember that your web traffic passes through many layers that you might not even know about on its way from origin server to your browser. Any of those can affect content before it reaches you.

Nobody from LucasForums administration has said you do have spyware — your feedback is useful, and it's already being followed up with the advertisers. tabacco was just saying that the possibility it was something else injecting the more explicit than usual ads is there.
It'd be extremely useful if you could screenshot it next time, and provide the link the ad goes to like Gabez did. Then we can directly say "If this appears again you'll be downing soup for life" to the advertisers.

Don't take it so hard, man, we're just saying it might be spyware, it's really just for your own safety (aka they could steal your credit card information). The Mojoers are already following up on it being potentially from the ads (or so they say). And it isn't the "Nazi Jews," it's actually just The Tingler and his multiple personalities.
Edit: Edited to say that I sound like a dork. Zaar is king.
