Easy way is to modify your configuration setting as specified in the sticky and then start a game, save it, get out and use KSE to edit in things like inventory changes, ability, feats, etc... I first fell back on all that typing and it only wastes a LOT of time. The only cheat I'd reccomend typing in is "turbo" (without the quote) so as to speed up the game a little. Any other meaningful cheats can be acquired through KSE. Also, there is a mod that will allow you to bypass the need for KSE in TSL. If you can find LitRidl's warpband, you can do a lot of changes w/in the game, instead of falling back on KSE (which is, still, very useful for both games). Otherwise, using a series of mods is another way to "cheat" yourself to a "fuller" gaming experience.
